"Loved that it is in a quiet area with the ability to go into town with the free bikes provided."

If I had to say anything it would be that it’s not the best if you want to get into the water. There are many other spots to do this so it’s not really a big issue.

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"The homestay was beautiful, clean, and felt very welcoming. The location was peaceful, with a lovely view, and it was easy to reach the main sites in Lalibela. The rooms were comfortable, and everything was well taken care of."

Honestly, nothing major everything was great.

I slept in the loft which was a little hot and stuffy. My mums slept downstairs The tariff was expensive.

No shower curtain, beds were uncomfortable, room only had a space heater and was always a little cold (in January). Had to change rooms in the middle of the stay. I would avoid this place as a single female traveler due to security issues as my first room didn't fully close and neither room locked. Male host was very friendly but unprofessional -- offered to get the two of us alcohol so we could hang out together.

"The property was beautiful and the staff was amazing. It was a beautiful oasis to relax in, after an action packed few days on safari. I would definitely come back! There are however a few minor issues with cleanliness, there are fingerprints round light switches and on the walls which aren’t typically seen in lodgings of that caliber. It does give a bit of the ick to see that."

For the love of all that is Holy add a door to the room with the open concept bathroom. It’s an otherwise perfect room and we appreciated it very much but for the price of the room, add a door.

櫃檯的右側有貼歡迎使用信用卡字樣，實際到現場卻無法刷卡只能付現，這點讓人不是很愉快。 C/I時間只到晚上九點，不確定九點過後是否還能入住，八點半左右就接到民宿方來電詢問是否要抵達了，讓人有壓力。 住宿本身非常安靜，但有遇到帶小孩的旅客小孩早上一直狂跑亂跳，也有遇到早上約七點開始使用鐵槌敲東西的聲音，雖然都被吵醒，但聲音都沒有持續很久。 另外個人覺得房內的沙發很硬。

Shower was dirty. But everything else was very clean!!

"Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."

The inn is located on a busy street; light sleepers may not find this place suitable.

"Very pleased with the communication before arrival, and upon arrival we felt welcome. The room is spotlessly clean and has everything necessary. Room size is good: with one double bed and one single bed still enough space to walk and put luggage. The yard is cozy and each room has a little terrace to eat outside."

"Luis is the best, you feel like a guest in his home and you will meet his family. His hospitality, kindness, restaurant recommendations, and bus tips made the stay extra special. Comfortable bed with plenty of desk and space to hang clothing items. Fan and air con available, although I only needed to use the fan. Spacious shower with good water pressure, although the bathroom was a bit small. Nice central courtyard, was able to use their fridge and filtered water. Was quiet at night."

This is pretty much my fault, but I could’ve picked a better location. Still was quite acceptable.

Being from a tropical climate I felt that the timing of hot water was less. It can be increased. Also some seating in courtyard could be increased.

There were some power outages, but that is expected in norther Peru, so it's the whole town. Mosquitos (so brink bug repellent).

"The unique design of the hotel, it was carved under a cave,. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Thanks to ali and hami. The breakfast is superb, there were a lot of choices"

Theres stones fragments would fall into your bed and stuff from time to time. Theres a disclaimer that its normally would happen, but still you have to remove it from time to time.
