"Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. While the property itself is stunning and peaceful, it was the exceptional service that made our visit truly memorable. The General Manager Muhammed was consistently available, incredibly accommodating, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. It is rare to find leadership so hands-on and dedicated to the guest experience. Every request was met with kindness, and their presence added a personal touch that you don't often find in luxury boutique hotels. If you are looking for a place where you are treated with authentic hospitality and care, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. A sincere thank you to the management and the entire team for such a pleasant stay!"

"I liked that the room was spacious, with enough space to place luggage comfortably. It did not feel cramped and was larger than rooms in the city. The accommodation is located near Matsumoto shops."

The parking was limited, so I had to use a nearby public parking for 500 yen, which was not far from the accommodation.

Difficult to get to (rough bumpy narrow roads)but worth it once there.

Breakfast (really good) starts at 8.30. Should at 6.30 or. 7.00. Sound isolation not too good. Instead of infrared could have been proper sauna.

"The location is amazing. 30 seconds walk to metro station, and many shops around. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Good WiFi and 24/7 checkin."

The room is very small. It's alright but for a longer stay it can be too narrow. There is a strong cigarette smell in the hallways, please enforce the smoking rule more strictly. However, in the rooms it doesnt smell. Also, the bathroom is tiny, so there is not a real shower, it is above the toilet, which can be unconfortable. Also, the elevator takes too long to arrive, which is annoying.

Rooms and toilets super clean and super safe place .there s a biliardo and a small shop outside and a fully equiped kitchen where we did amazing barbecue with the other guests and we had lots of fun! It s very well centrally located with a breath taking terrace view and birds singing in the morning.ideal for my yoga too"

"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds are comfortable. Very clean. Restaurant is recently renovated, beautiful and food was great for dinner and breakfast."

Жили на третьем этаже, лестницы очень крутые, взрослым людям будет тяжело подниматься. Завтрак был включен, ожидание было, конечно, другое, но увы, сервис оставляет желать лучшего. Утром пошли на завтрак, девушка, встретившая нас с ходу сказала, что кроме яичницы ничего нет. В итоге принесли яичницу с колбасой, на вопрос из какого мяса, ответила грубо, что не знает. На 4 человека дали один чайник чая, попросили дополнительно еще чайник, но это уже было платным. В номере не помешало бы поставить большое зеркало и светильники. Думаю, такие мелочи дали бы уют в номерах.

Very isolated, surrounded by an abandoned resort. Menu very limited and expensive although the chef was very obliging and did cook of menu dishes for those who asked. Our room wasn’t cleaned twice and we had to remind someone to do it, we had to move rooms as the toilet facilities broke on our first room but this was handled quickly. For the cost of the room I would have expected a little more e.g. bottled water free in the room, tissues to be available in the room, better quality toilet paper.

"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The thermal facilities were excellent and relaxing, especially in the cold weather. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had good variety. The surrounding nature and snowy views made the stay even more special."

The location is a bit far from the city center, so transportation can be limited without a car. However, the hotel provides a transportation if you need.

"J’avais choisi El rancho au vu de sa proximité avec le centre ville de Grand bourg et aussi parce que le petit déjeuner était compris… Malheureusement ce n’était pas le cas . Amateur de café j’ai dû me lever tôt pour aller en chercher… Faites attention à la publicité mensongère ça peut vous coûter cher. Christian VALLEJO Juriste."

Good variety of Norwegian ®ular breakfast staples Staff at counter friendly and answered our questions about area/accommodations Free parking - big bonus since Norway usually requires payment for parking Although shared bath, we had no wait for WC. We had a sink in our room so only shower and toilet facilities are shared."

Cons: You may hear noise from people outside on public deck. During our stay all observed quiet time after 11PM. We always have ear plugs so we are ok.

It is never fun to need to put toilet paper in the waste basket, but that's necessary, right? I cannot remember, but I think there was no guide to TV channels, which is something my husband likes. Again, not very important.

I posted pictures of how to easily get to Hotel France from train station. Go to platform C and walk all the way to the end, turn LEFT and walk all the way to the end of the tunnel. You will enter a small court yard, walk a little to the right and look for a small set of stairs next to the cafe. Go down the stairs and turn to the left, Hotel France is right there. Google directions are confusing. (my pictures loaded in reverse order)"
