"Perfect location. Clean room. Very comfortable beds. We arrived at a rainy and windy day, and the host helped with luggage. He worked as a waiter as well. The dinner was excellent, and breakfast was good. The hotel owner has a very interesting collection of fine China all around the world, and we enjoyed it very much. Very nice place to stay."

"Property was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our overnight stay. We didn’t get to try the restaurant but the breakfast was great. I really appreciated the front desk reaching out to me to confirm my arrival time. We were running late from Hofn and they made sure we had proper instruction to be able to get to our room after-hours."

"Our room was spacious with a large window giving a lot of light, the view over the mountains was really nice. Everything was clean and organized. The establishment is fairly unique, you see it from outside one way but once inside it really looks different and much bigger. Breakfast had a lot of options and was good - I'm still struggling to see how hotels can offer a free breakfast like that, yet charge over $25 for a bowl of soup. Large parking lot, no problem to park. Very quiet as it's quite isolated, maybe 5km off the road 1."

"Receptionist/owner(?) was very nice. He helped us to heat up our food and carried our suitcase for us. He also made some travel recommendations in eastern Iceland. :) There are also free postcard offered by the hotel:) Our room had private bathroom included, and we saw a rabbit from our windows!! The breakfast was also great! I recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a stopover between Höfn and Egilsstaðir"
