"Such a pristine cottage. Located on top of a private farm having views of mountains and glaciers from the sit-out. Extremely quiet. Not even a soul could be heard from there. Only sound was sheep and lovely breeze. Beautiful wooden 2 bedroom cottage having every possible thing one might need. Can easily spend 2 days to enjoy it fully. Worth every price and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quiet time in Iceland."

"PERFECT PLACE TO STAY in this Remote part of Iceland. Places like this are what Iceland is all about! On a working ranch, very remote, there are 2 Cottages that are New with the comforts of home, large enough for a small family. Cottages had a small deck with a table and chairs, that could enjoy the views. The cottage is on a Hill that one could see for miles. Everything was clean, new, and comfortable."

"The host Anna was incredibly accommodating and helpful, as well as kind! The property was in a somewhat secluded but accessible location, so serene, and absolutely STUNNING views of the countryside and glacier! Sweet dog on the property who came to say hello in the morning; very accessible to Hofn. I would come stay here for a week if I could!"

"The property was one of two cabins set on a farm about 10mins drive from the town of Hofn. Anna was very nice and friendly. The cabin had breathtaking views of glaciers, mountains, the countryside and the sea. My kids loved the friendly horses and sheep. It was quiet and peaceful. The cabins were cosy. There was no TV and the WiFi was spotty but worked well after we informed Anna."

"We recently stayed at Eystri-Solheimar for 3 nights. The host Einar and his staff were extremely helpful, attentive, the room was very clean and spaceious, very quiet. The breakfast/coffee was nice. We would stay there again next time if we go. Btw, he can speak Chinese! We wish that we could have seen the northern lights, but that's not Einar's fault, he then sent me some spectacular pictures from his phone as a compensation. :)"
