"There is a small hill to traverse with luggage to make it to the front door. It was a bit steep. The app to login was not allowing me to add my payment info for the contactless check-in. The front desk staff were very helpful with that but it was not convenient having to install an app and create an account just to open the front door."

"We recently stayed at Eystri-Solheimar for 3 nights. The host Einar and his staff were extremely helpful, attentive, the room was very clean and spaceious, very quiet. The breakfast/coffee was nice. We would stay there again next time if we go. Btw, he can speak Chinese! We wish that we could have seen the northern lights, but that's not Einar's fault, he then sent me some spectacular pictures from his phone as a compensation. :)"
