"The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The apartment was well equipped. We did. It sit out on the balcony as it was dark and no views. But the upper terrace made up 100 fold for our balcony. Definitely recommend staying at Portside. Excellent location. Great staff."

"A beautiful and clean apartment with everything you need, even for a longer stay. The location is excellent; you can walk to the beach and many restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Marta at the front desk! When part of our group had a problem with the air conditioning, Marta easily changed our room at 1 a.m. We had a late flight back and were also able to extend our stay until the evening for a few euros without any problem. Marta, thank you so much for everything! I highly recommend this place."

"Nice and clean apartment, close to Marsaskala restaurants and stores. Closest convenience store is 10 meters from the entrance. Air conditioning in every room. Nice yet small pool area and roof terrace (it was at times packed). Wi-fi worked well. With 5 eur per day we could rent a parking place in the garage - that was really needed. It would be very tricky to search for free slots on the streets. Very friendly staff and easy to communicate in advance. A GPS navigator is a must if you have a rental car. Impossible to find the right exits in roundabouts if you don't have it. They apparently expect tourists to know where each place is located, and number of signposts ahead of roundabouts and crossings is minimal compared with other countries. But with navigator no issues."

"Larger swimming pool would have been nice. And of course a dishwasher would be good but naturally we managed ok without it. So, no big issues. One of the bedrooms was a bit noisy because of local traffic (but teenagers slept well despite the noise)."
