Guest reviews for Hotel Astor
"The place was clean and neat. The cleaning lady was very nice."
"The mattress was too hard and the location is a bit far from center activities."
"Very clean, good bed, good AC, clean bathroom with a good shower. The desk and chair is comfortable for working. This is my second time staying here and I recommend it. The location is perfect for walking yet it's pretty quiet at night. I had a room on the back side of the property and I barely heard any noises from outside."
"The wifi signal did get weak at times and failed once during the stay, it was back a couple minutes later. Thankfully not while we were in our work calls. Adding some boosters to make the wifi signal stronger in all parts of the property would be appreciated."
"Best price in Mexico City for a quiet, air conditioned, USA style hotel with very fast wifi. Laundry across the street. All kinds of stores and even a dental clinic within meters."
"Kind of hard to find non Mexican restaurants in the area."
"This is by far the best deal in Mexico City. The hotel is very similar to American hotels. Rooms look like American rooms, hallways, etc all are just like in the USA. You get American like comfort and efficiency with great WIFI and AC at a very good price. Anywhere else in Mexico City it is either good and expensive or cheap and not so good. Laundry is just across the street, and many other stores and a dental clinic are nearby. Nice architecture and a short walk to the Monument."
"Everything was good. Maybe the elevator could have been faster or the water could have warmed up faster, but it's no big deal."
"Location, cleaning. The most!! There was an advisement that after 10pm it is prohibited to make any noise in the halls and nowhere!"
"The pillows! They are not comfortable"
"Great location near Réforma Avenue and public transports. Clean and comfortable rooms with friendly staff."
"Aucun."
"Good central location. Very good parking. Good restaurant. Inner rooms quiet. Basic and comfortable I always stay here. Very good value."
"Beds are not the best."
"The location is nearby restaurants that I like and is very central."
"The toilets could be a bit easier to flush. The water takes a while to heat up for the shower. but the pressure is good."
"It is centric from where I went out. Clean and big"
"The staff at the moment of my reception. Too hostil!! He was a young guy but with no customer service at all! The parking is not enough and my car was manipulated by a member staff taking it down to the basement what it is toooo dark. I don't feel secure the next day I had to go for my car. Because there wasn't a member staff who knows to drive. And also I was booked in the rooms that are located to the street and at 6am -7am there were a lot of noise because of the stores. For one night it was ok but I cannot imagine being long time."
"A big secure nice parking area for my motorcycle. Near Centro Mexico. Decent restaurant with professional staff. The room satisfactory but the mattress is not really. It’s basic cheap and convenient and my regular stop over in CDMX. Surprisingly quiet. Really good avocado stuffed with tuna."
"Mattress is thin and hard. No view the windows are covered."
