Hotel Castropol

"This hotel is GREAT VALUE for the price . It has a good location near the historical centre of Mexico City . It is also a very short walk to the subway . Although not luxurious ....... the hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious . The breakfast at the restaurant is very good . I would prefer a more trendy neighbourhood like Roma or Condesa but for the price it cannot be beat !"

"The street where the hotel is located has a lot of " down-market " shops . I never went into any of them . However.... you can find nicer stores and restaurants once you do a 15 minute walk to the main square ."

"The food in the restaurant was good for the money. the location is in a very busy area, but inside very quiet."

"The location is great, walkable to downtown, major sights, transportation. The staff is nice, prompt, always ready to help. Felt safe in the middle of all the action. If you have a tour scheduled in the morning, they let you have the paid breakfast after your return, so that you do not miss out (and the choices are very good). Very well insulated, you can rest or work as you please, good wifi. No thrills, family-oriented, excellent price for what it offers in CDMX. Would definitely stay again."
