"Front desk personnel Juan and Kaley were wonderful. Friendly and well informed."
"Bathroom too tiny"
"They assigned us a quiet room in the back. That was nice of them."
"If they could make the hotel more sound proof, that would be great. In that way people could stay in the vintage rooms in the front more. Which are more charming and atmospheric."
"This hotel is right in the middle of the city center with easy access to restaurants and shops. However it is the friendly, accommodating and hard working staff that makes this place so special."

"Location is fabulous, easy to get to and wonderful staff"

"Perfect location, just 1 block to the main square. Lots of character to the place. Provided drinking water."
"No chairs in the room. No hot water most of the time."
"Feels like an Hacienda in the middle of the city. Very adorable common spaces and pool. Room was huge. Close to everything. 24 hour restaurant across the street."
"WiFi was a weak in the room."
"Very central location, easy to come with car (parking in front of hotel in city parking lot for 50mex/day) Nice inner yard, looks like old times fancy hotel but now a bit worn. Comfortable beds, got thin duvets (not just bed sheets as usually in other hotels). Shower was look warm."
"We got room to opposite side as the street, so no street noise. But next to our window, hanged AC motor, which was quite loud"
"Beautiful property. Right next to lots of restaurants and activity street fair stuff."
"Shower pressure and water output was extremely low. Basically like showering under drips."
"I liked the location, the size of the room and the classic colonial flavor of the Hotel and the bedroom."
"No complain, everything was right."
"The staff members were very helpful. The air conditioning in the room was excellent -- very important in Merida! The hotel is beautiful and very well located a couple of blocks off the central plaza. Breakfast is available and was good. The cost for my stay was as expected. The hotel lives up to its description. Clean water was provided. My second floor room was great. The staff immediately fixed my shower-head when it wasn't working well. The concierge secured a taxi for my 4:30 a.m. ride back to the airport. Great city and the international airport meant a non-stop from DFW."
"Except for my room, the hotel isn't air conditioned, which is a shame because it was too uncomfortably hot to spend any time admiring the hotel's beautiful structure and tiles. (This may not be unusual for hotels in this city.)"

Avis de Edwin Hotel Colonial Cancun
"The artwork in this hotel is next level. The staff is laid back and friendly. The room was comfortable with nice linens. The shower was large with warm water. They were hangers and drawers and a place to store your luggage. There was even storage space above the toilet in the form of a hanging rack. You can turn off the overhead light from the bed and turn on two bedside lamps from one switch by the bed. The room has a window which opens and so does the bathroom. The housekeeper I had is an absolute gem."

Avis de Debby AM Amakal Hotel & Park
"We had a family suite that turned out to be the penthouse and every room was MASSIVE with excellent A/C and an ensuite in every room. Everything was super clean and the housekeeping staff were wonderful, they made different designs with the linens in the bathrooms and beds every day in addition to leaving the place spotless. Restaurant on site was delicious and open to serving us poolside. There's also a little convenience store that has a bit of everything, and the hotel is walking distance to the main shopping strip which then leads you right to the ocean and a beach, about 15mins if you don't stop and shop. It's near the airport, but there are only 2 flights a day and they're both mid afternoon so we didn't notice any airplane noise at all since we were always out."
