"Beautiful serene and remote place. Super friendly staff and accommodating. We could see whales all day from decks and wall to ceiling windows. Great beds. Modern architecture. Heavenly peaceful."

"It is over an hour on a dirt sandy road. The beach is deserted so be careful with rips and undertow. Restaurant at property is all you have to do good food but pricey. Drinks expensive and weak. Charged us for coffee."

"We had stopped for lunch at VidaSOUL during a 2024 bike packing trip and were thoroughly impressed by the hotel and its staff. We cycled the Cape Loop again in January of 2026 and made a point of booking a night. The hotel and the staff (especially Hector) were as great as we remembered The food was exceptional (we had lunch, dinner and breakfast). Will definitely be back if our travels take us to the area."

"Very quiet and serene with amazing beach views being right on the beach. The setting is perfect for a quiet stay. The kitchen staff were great about making food I was able to eat and accommodating my requests. It’s a really beautiful location along this part of the Cortez sea."

"The road in is a bit daunting. I suggest taking the road right up the coastline from San Jose Del Cabo harbor. Of the three it’s the best. The road over the foothills is hard to follow and a bit treacherous especially in a reg car. An suv or off-road vehicle would be best. For any of the routes. The road to and from Cabo Pulmo is slow and tedious. If you have the right off road vehicle the road would be fun."

"The room was lovely and very comfortable. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Gorgeous surroundings, the pool was just right for cooling off. There were wild horses right outside our window, which was beautiful to see. All the staff were very friendly."

"This is an amazing gem. It is isolated and away from everything. But it is a great get away. Amazing views of the sea of cortez. The staff is absolutely amazing. Super friendly and helpful."

"location, location. Away from the hustle of Cabo this place calms the soul. Each room has what you need. Also the restaurant on site is top rate. And if you see a burro make sure you give him a carrot or apple and wish him safe travels."

"Location - away from the crowds and a great intro to Baja California with plenty of shake sightings. Hector was a great host and Alberto tops with the food"

"The food was great and the staff was very good. Bar service was excellent. Bed was comfy. AC was cold. Staff very helpful about taking your luggage up for you. Pool is clean."

"The stairs are not good ( no elevator) Only 2 min max hot water in the shower with not enough pressure to wash hair or really rinse off. Slippery cement floors. There is no tile or marble that we could see even the the booking site says the hotel is tile and marble. The entire hotel seems to be polished cement. We should have insisted on a first floor room but really they SHOULD have asked out preference. Staff is great about lugging your stuff up the stairs though!!! The stairs really need to be rebuilt properly. No fridge in room."

"Amazing location tucked away on the south east corner of the Baja Peninsula with remarkable beaches, wild horses, humpback whales - the Baja at its best. The hotel is a wonderful combination of styles - definitely modern and very cool but fits the environment beautifully. It is the perfect location for a music festival and this is the theme. If you want quiet, check with management about events planned during your stay. It is the perfect place for a music festival."

"It's a bit rough around the edges but we call this the Baja patina. I enjoyed my stay immensely. It's a very rough long road to the hotel and I sort of wish I had been better prepared for that. My bad though. It was worth the drive."

"location, location, location with great food & amazing staff!! This place is a hidden gem & if you want to get away from everything, relax & enjoy wildlife this is the place. We had the most delicious dinner & Margaritas & watched Whales breaching at Breakfast - JUST WONDERFUL!!!"
