"An overnight stay to visit the little blue penguin experience. Would've been happy to have stayed longer. View from the communal area was beautiful over the beachfront. Room was quaint and cosy. Enjoyed the use of the electric heater. Facilities were large and clean. Parking on the roadside outside."

"I like the location with a nice walk to the precinct. The bed was extremely comfortable & room spacious. Being allowed to arrive earlier than 2.00 was very convenient. Staff very hospitable. Good kitchen."

"Difficult access to off street parking (have to walk right around the corner). Steep steps to go up difficult with suitcases. Service wasn’t very friendly from manager (phone communication) and the live in resident worker (to be fair she warmed up after I persisted in chatting with her and she was quite nice but initially cold and abrupt with information)"

"- The Checkin was very easy and flexible due to the key locker box. - The staff was very fast in their replies via booking-chat. - The Accomodation is near to the bus stop and in walking distance to alle POI's of Oamaru."

"Good location with quick driving access to the historic downtown, penguins, and steampunk museum. Easy instructions for self check in. I didn’t get to meet any staff, but the place seemed to be clean enough and sufficient for the price I paid."

"It was a bit strange having my room directly adjacent to the family room and kitchen, rather than in the hallway where the other rooms were located. I wish they had included a wall mounted shampoo dispenser in the shower, and a towel hook. It would be helpful to place small placards on the bathroom doors so that it’s obvious where they are."

"A very nice place, so clean! The kitchen, living room had much more than we needed, and there's even a laundry machine + dryer for free. There's no question about value for money as it's the cheapest place we've seen, although worths much more than lots of places we stayed at in terms of value. Lovely owners and they're taking exceptionally good care of the place."
