"Gorgeous property up the hill from town in Akaroa. Cute cabins with lots of greenery and vegetation, and nice views. Host was friendly, check in smooth. Free parking right at our cabin. Bed was extremely comfortable and warm. Room was a bit cold but we chose not to light the fireplace so really on us, but there was a space heater. Hiking trails nearby right from the property. If you’re looking for a place that’s right near town, but more picturesque, this is perfect!"

"Views to die for! Loved, loved, loved this cottage which was adjoined to, but separate, from the main hosts house - an arrangement we prefer for privacy. This is a very comfortable cottage which has been nicely furnished to welcome guests. The linen and towels are luxurious. Parking is outside the door which opens to the bathroom, toilet and small but most adequate kitchenette. From here you descent 4 steps to the bedroom and lounge area and two balconies. This lovely, comfortable property would be suited for short and long term visits and the hosts Jane and Mike are warm and welcoming. This top rated property was an absolute pleasure to stay in - thank you so much."
