Moon Light Camp

"Our stay at Moon Light Camp was wonderful. Easy communication with the hosts who are very accommodating. The triangle shaped bungalow is a nice distance from the other tents, giving you privacy and a great view. The room has everything you need, and the hot tub worked (although it does run out of hot water before being full, but this is understandable for the desert). Easy to organize a transfer from Bidiyah and to reserve activities at the camp (sand boarding, quad bike, camel ride, dune bashing…). The breakfast and dinner were also delicious, with good variety."

"Unique and remote location with spectacular views. And adventure all the way with comfort to boot. Food was plentiful and tasty."

"It is a tent, so expect some draft and a swaying structure. We didn't stay on the right on our way in and missed the sign to turn to the camp."

"Lovely desert camp. The food selection for dinner and breakfast offered a good variety for vegetarians. The bed was comfortable. The other guests I met around the lodgings were all very nice. The camel ride led by Jimmy on my peaceful camel Shaheen was a highlight of the trip. Visiting the camels in the evening and morning was very nice. They also had a baby falcon at the property and he was very nice. Beautiful nature overall."

"My original tent 13 was very comfortable, but had no electricity in the sleeping area and I had to be moved to tent 9 which had working electricity. That tent was also very nice, however I did not discover until after my late move that it only had a pipe for a shower, no shower head like the first tent, and no mirror in the bathroom. This did not present a huge problem, but was a small inconvenience, since I wear contact lenses and like to check in the mirror when I put them in."

"Overall setting, in the middle of the dunes, bit deeper in the desert, which we really wanted. Our tent had a perfect spot for sunrise view, and beds were very comfortable. Just behind the camp you could climb the dunes to enjoy sunset, perfect! Food was delicious, proper local, we had both dinner and breakfast there. After dinner, there was a campfire where everyone could chill around the fire and drink tea and try desert bread that beduins were making. Honestly, we are very pleased with overall experience."

"We had a fantastic time at this camp. The place was well set up, with a cozy swing out front that added a charming touch. Both breakfast and dinner were decent, and the overall vibe was very welcoming. The host arranged an exciting dune bashing session and took us to watch the sunset — totally worth the extra charge! At night, you can wander off into the quiet desert, lie down, and gaze at the stars. I even spotted four shooting stars! It was truly an unforgettable experience."
