"Comfortable surroundings, beautiful private and quiet spot at the foot of the mountains."
"The bed was too hard for my liking, but my husband found it comfortable."
"The layout of the villa was very well planned even though there were other guests we felt we had our own space"
"We never spent enough time there to explore the beautiful surroundings"
"The check-in system was very accessible and the owner very helpful. The house is very beautiful, very traditional and very cosy."

"Great breakfast, nice place, great host. We booked a room with balcony but there were some late time issues and we stayed in another room. It was spectacular but with no balcony and no view. Clean and enjoyable place. We'll come back for sure."

"Location ! Perfect distance to Lisbon and the surroundings (Sintra, Mafra etc.), whilst having the best of the Portuguese backdrop ! Great hospitality right from the start, ease of check in (we got in at 11pm), and the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a comfortable one. Thank you !"
"Nothing - it was great !"
"Great location, couldn’t have felt more welcome, great communication leading up to arrival and great meal"

"Excellent place with friendly staff. Freshly made breakfast"

"The location is a challenging drive up through the Serra de Monte Junto mountain villages, many roads I had not driven before. Upon arrival, we were met very graciously by the host. The room accommodation was nicely laid out. The water for bathing is nice and hot, something that is not always found in Portugal. The bathtub is a nice deep soaker, however, as an older person, I found it difficult to get out of the tub. The communal dining area is an exceptional Portuguese layout. The grounds have been manicured for a very relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, I had come down with a fever at this point in my travels, and I was unable to appreciate the accommodations to their fullest."

"Great location for being close to hiking trail, had heat and great shower with amazing water pressure comfy beds"

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
"This place is so charming and having a kitchen and fireplace made it very nice."

"The hosts were great. A family-run guest house, good value for money and a great way to experience the local culture. The nearby restaurant they recommended was a real gem."
Naude Casa Dos Gomes
"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
