"B&B Candelária and especially the host Will is a great experience. The location is beautiful with great views and (except for the crickets) perfectly quiet. The room is really cosy and perfect for couples. Clean, beautifully decorated and breathing a historic atmosphere. Breakfast was a joy! Every day something special or an extra added and really delicious. But best of all during our stay was our host. She’s lovely and knows what real hospitality is. Nice talks and always going the extra mile. The best stay we had in ages, not to say in my whole life! We had the time of our lives and already looking forward to our next stay here when we come back to the Algarve!"

"First of all Will is amazing host. From a first moment till we say goodbies Will was always there for her guests. She made thousand extra steps to make stay of her guests beyond pleasant. The breakfast Will cooked every day was truly delicious and versatile. Every corner of the house was sparkling clean. The rooms are decorated with so much love and care. Will greeted us like her old friends, she is so friendly and warm!! Will shared so many great tips which made our holidays truly special. "Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
