"We are lucky that we stayed at this property. Acrosd the street is Sintra train station and 434 bus stop to go to Pena Palace. The owner (Ms Maria) was very friendly. She allowed us for early check in. The living room and our bed room was very clean, comvy and beautiful. Full of personal touch. Breakfast was awesome. Sintra is very beautiful and I will stay again if I visit Sintra"

"the breakfast was beyond perfect. Very friendly hostess."
"No parking nearby"
"Fantastic location right across from the train station. It was raining alot so getting to and from the station was great. Also right on the edge of the old city so walking to the sights was great. The breakfast was fantastic, we felt like royalty."

"Maria was a very generous host, the room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was very good and beautifully served. For dinner Maria suggested a restaurant close by which was filled with local families, and was delicious."
"The bathroom, which was only for our use, was across a hall. Maria provides bathrobes which were useful."
"The breakfast was freshly prepared and presented nicely. A great variety to choose from."
"The staff was very accommodating. We needed a table to play cards and it was provided for us. Everything we wanted or needed was provided promptly."
"Our host Maria made us feel very comfortable and was very nice!"

"Incredibly kind hosts, delicious breakfast, and a lovely room! Everything was beautiful and comfortable, couldn't have asked for a better Sintra stay."
"The bathroom was separated from the room by a short shared hallway, BUT it was also spacious, private to our room (i.e., not shared with anyone else), clean, and well equipped. Not a bother at all!"

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff. They also gave us a room upgrade with an amazing view."
Cedric Monte Carvalhal da Rocha
"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

"We did the Camino and it was right on the Camino trail. Payment is via cash only. The rooms are small but adequate for just one night. Nice place as it has its own vineyard. The caretaker is also very friendly. They provide a pilgrim dinner for 16 euro but we did not do that as we do not eat a heavy dinner. It did look good though."
"This place is so charming and having a kitchen and fireplace made it very nice."

"The hosts were great. A family-run guest house, good value for money and a great way to experience the local culture. The nearby restaurant they recommended was a real gem."
Naude Casa Dos Gomes
"The proprietor was wonderful. The common outside areas were very beautiful. The common inside area was a museum—-super interesting. The restaurant was very, very good! Fantastic! The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
