"The views- simply the best! On the night we stayed- 2 large tour groups were also there- it made the breakfast area a little over taxed. However- the staff warned us with notifications posted in the elevator."

"The location of this hotel and surroundings are exceptional. It stands next to the amazing Bom Jesus Basilica. The stairs leading to this Basilica are a great example of the Portugal art and architecture. Climbing these stairs from the bottom to the Cathedral could be challenging, but it worth it. The whole complex of buildings and multiple chapels create an exceptionally spiritual environment. The large park on the mountain offers excellent opportunity for simply walking and for meditations The Hotel do Parque staff was exceptionally friendly. We had a gorgeous dinner in the restaurant with the amazing view of Braga and its shining lights. We also took a ride on the unique funicular driven by the force of water..Our room was small but quite sufficient for a short stay. The whole atmosphere of this hotel makes it home away from home. We had breakfast included in the price and it as very good in all aspects: the spacious room, good service, plenty of tasty food and beverages."

"The location is excellent. Right by the church and great views of the park area. The staff, especially Carolina, were so friendly and helpful. She gave us recommendations for the area that were really appreciated. It was a convenient walk to the park areas. The bed was pretty comfortable, too. The bar was lovely and we played pool (badly!) in the game room. The art in the bar is so unique, too."
"The bathroom configuration is not very private. They could stand to update some of the decor (like lose the fake flowers!). Breakfast was adequate, but quite average. Eggs were cold and the mushrooms were not fresh but were from a jar. The breakfast room was creepily quiet. They should look into playing some background music for better ambience."
