"The location was perfect right across the street from the train station. there is a coffee shop on the other corner with excellent choices for breakfast and lunch. It looks like they had options for dinner, but we never had dinner there, but there is a lot of places to eat in the area. The air conditioning in the room was excellent was very good and the bed and pillows were comfortable, this is a good value for your money. I will definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Coimbra."
"Make sure you don’t book the lowest cost room. They are located on the third floor and, walk up no elevator, although very charming , the rooms have not been renovated yet, they are located in the attic. You can barely stand up without hitting your head with the ceiling although if you look to save money, then go for it. The television in this room is an old-fashioned one with only two channels and in black-and-white do not expect any luxury is an old building which was built in the 1930’s, it was cool of music once upon a time."
"Perfect river-front location for exploring Coimbra. Inexpensive, no-frills, great value for money. Clean, great for short stays. Lovely old building with very high ceilings. The best thing was that I could open the windows to the cool river breeze (notwithstanding the traffic noise) at night - bliss."
"There is no lift, so lugging a heavy bag up 2 flights of stairs was a drag. If you did want to stay in for bit, the TV was too far up the wall to make it viable. The shower cubicle was a tad too small for a 6ft lad, so I had to open the door for more room to lather up."
