Леглата и възглавниците са много удобни, като за блажен царствен сън от какъвто се нуждаехме за нашата почивка. Плажът беше достатъчен за всички. Водата беше спокойна и бистра. Food was not bad at all, it was good, but not on the level of a 5 stars hotel. Staff followup was a bit too much, I know they’re trying to do their job perfectly, but it was a little much knocking on the door and phone calls.

"Great hotel absolutely met our expectations. We were a big family from Cyprus (12 people), the rooms were great as described, the staff very helpful and kind always ready to help you with a smile! Great breakfast and facilities for everyone kids and adults. The pool was very big with sunbeds and supervision. Location excellent just 3-4 mins from the sea and near many shops and restaurants! Special thanks to Mrs. Eleni and all the staff there. Very kind and helpful with all our requests! Of course would like to visit again sometime in the future!"

The buffet breakfast was canceled due to no more than 15 guests for the first morning. The hotel ordered breakfast (per our choice) from outside restaurant but the food were cold thus did not taste good. The hotel did have salad and porridge for the breakfast. The second morning buffet breakfast was not impressive and was below my expectation based on other reviews from Booking.com. Closet space is limited.

"I had such a lovely time there. The facilities are first rate and the staff is amazing. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. They put every effort into doing whatever was necessary to make my stay perfect. I was there kind of off season, so the spa was closed, but I wanted services, so they had someone come in for me. I had an amazing massage. The room was gorgeous, the bed was so comfortable, and I loved the shower. Breakfast was quite yummy and they had rooms service for other meals also. The boatman they had for my lake tour really took me all over the lake. The prices were reasonable, so I could relax and just enjoy the lovely place and not stress about anything."

I honestly can't think of anything. It would have been nice if their gift shop had been open, because I'd have like to buy some of the products they have in the bathroom.

"The hotel was wonderful, just as the reviews and photos promised. We met many returning guests, highlighting the excellent service. We enjoyed many complimentary perks like afternoon tea and Monday night buffet. It was such fun to see free-roaming cats, chickens, and roosters around."

The carpets were dirty (but how could they be clean in a beach town?), but otherwise everything was fantastic.

"Rented a cabin and expected simplicity but it was more like a hotel room at an expensive hotel and there was fridge & freezer plus cooking facilities."

Little hard to find the parking for the cabin though. They were numbered but not clearly printed on the map we were given. Had to look around quite a bit before we found the parking spot. There was no information on how to practically check out. I drove the car towards the reception but the street in front of the reception had a no stopping sign. Had to reverse it back to the parking spot. Was a bit confused on what to do. Turned out that i should have walked and given the key cards to the reception or dropped them in a box and just driven to the exit and that the exit gate opened automatically.

"The pool was amazing for my back and joints. The hot water is amazing. Rooms are nice and cosy, the ac was turned on most of the time because it was super cold outside. The staff were very friendly and kind. The location is quiet and the sunset and sunrise view were lovely. There is ample parking as well, that's a huge plus in my book."

Like with most places to lodge on the island, no A/C in common area only in bedroom(s).

"The cabin has beautiful lake view and it’s very clean inside. My two children loved the heated swimming pool where you can buy wrist bands from reception to access. Boat rental to see the islands and to get to Risør. We have enjoyed our two nights stay."

There was a water leak coming from the toilet. Housekeeping was told about it on the second day because we only noticed it at the end of the first night. However, it was not addressed at all. We kept using towels to soak up the water and they just kept taking those, mopping up the water and giving us fresh towels everyday.

Le seul bémol réside dans l’humidité ambiante dans l’appartement, mais l’hôte a mis à disposition un déshumidificateur efficace et la climatisation pour diminuer les effets.

Breakfast was meager. Swimming in the pool is prohibited from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The restaurant closes at 3 p.m. and is not open continuously. The selection was limited and expensive. Drinks in the refrigerator were grossly overpriced. On the public beach, there were only a few sun loungers and a single parasol. We left early. Not for people who enjoy a good breakfast buffet and swimming in the open sea.

"Nice calm resort well eqiupped spa, large rooms, great food, drink as well.. What is on top level is staff, in particular super nice lady at reception, always ready to help, moving you immediatelly to relaxing mood on arrival. Hope landlord is well aware having such a treasure in the team."

"The property made a wonderful impression from the start. It had an elegant motif, thoughtfully executed to be both aesthetically pleasing and calming to the mind and soul. The customer service was 5 star! The room for the massages was very unique and inspiring. Also many big and small details made the cabins super photogenic and very connected to the surrounding forest, great for reflection and romance."

There is no closet for storing clothes, and good sleep quality may be elusive. Some maintenance issues unfortunately distracted a bit from the peace of the environment, but they were dealt with quickly and graciously by the attentive staff. Next time I might only stay for one night, so that the small issues don't distract as much from the ambience. It was overall a lovely romantic stay.

"Majority of the staff here are very nice, welcoming, and helpful. There are a few who were a little rude however the politeness of the others outshine those interactions by far. Special mention to Triston who was very polite, patient, and insightful throughout our entire trip. Jeremiah was also very nice and helped make our trip special with his suggestions and assistance at the beach. There was also a manager whose name started with a T who welcomed us upon arrival and checked on us to ensure everything was to our liking. From the initial interactions, these staff members helped our group of 6 feel like we were regular visitors at the Verandah although this was our first stay. I would defiantly return and highly recommend a stay here. Sidebar: The food is great and well seasoned!"

The property is very large and sometimes there is a long wait to get a buggy to travel. There could be a few more shaded areas throughout the property especially when waiting for transportation.

"During my honeymoon trip I got the privilege to stay at Ananea. Through the stay we experienced world class hospitality, exposed to breathtaking scenery, great f&b options and lots of water/land activities."

The only thing we missed was the experience of room service access anytime of the day or night. Some days dinning time frames seemed too short.

"The location was amazing. The pool was perfect. The warm indoor pool was very cozy. The staff were so kind. All the restaurants were fantastic. Diversity and quality of food and beverage were on top of niveau. Very good guest parking. A very family and kid friendly resort."

I can not remember any "bad" thing about the hotel.

The breakfest is great, they have also a private beach the pool was clean and all the area was clean the room was good too

"Excellent historic building and interiors. The park with the pond looked nice too, but didn't have time to walk around. Several rooms are for team working activities. Cute spa with big jacuzzis and several saunas. We were welcomed by a very nice lady."

Restaurant could have something simple for eating, too. We don't need the full menu all the time. Some fruits, cheese, cookies, for example.

"Peaceful location, a nice little pool, and within a short hilly walk to several nice restaurants and a market."

There are a lot of steps if you are staying in a lower level unit.

"The studios are basic and clean. The location is amazing, being so close to a small but wonderful beach. St. Lawrence Gap, with all its restaurants, is just a short walk away. The staff were helpful, and we were able to store our cases at reception and enjoy the facilities while we waited to go to the airport. The pool is small but we were glad of it."

The barbed wire surrounding the property is awful. Such a beautiful view from the pool is ruined by prison vibes. No other hotel has this. It’s just awful and it totally ruins the vacation vibe.

"Beautiful view, with exceptional service. The staff is extremely friendly, makes a point of learning your name and providing the personal touch. A bit outside the busy Stone Town area, very close to the airport. Well priced."

The breakfast is a bit disappointing, would have loved a strong cup of coffee, but the rest of the menu is really enjoyable, and the great service more than makes up for the slightly under par breakfast.

"Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und modern eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, dass alles neu ist. Besonders schön: die tolle Ausstattung mit Espresso-Maschine und kostenlosem Kaffee. Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.
