"Very friendly staff. The employee working the front desk when I arrived was super friendly and helpful. He didn’t speak English but used Google Translate app to communicate loads of useful information and make sure I had everything I needed. Other staff members I interacted with later spoke English as well. I arrived by bicycle and had the option to store my bike in the lobby or in my room, which was spacious. They gave me a little map and food guide as well. Breakfast buffet in the morning was nice."

"Staff was so helpful and ensuring we got dinner at restaurants. The day of departure we were giving a ride to the train station. The hosts speak very little English but was overcome with Apps. Area was quiet and near visitor centre and the jump off point of the paragliding. Great breakfasts; one at b&b abd one packed at day of departure."

"Japanese Quad room: I hardly ever give a 10 rating but this place really deserves it. It was the nicest accommodation out of 10 different properties where I stayed this time in Taiwan. The room is cozy, bright, beautiful with a peaceful energy. There are 9 windows in the room ! The Tatami bedroom was a bliss with very comfortable mattresses. The breakfast was delicious and was presented in a beautiful way. The host family was very friendly, kind and interesting. The house is located in a beautiful , natural and quiet surrounding. The garden felt very comfortable and the sound of frogs and crickets in the evening created a soothing soundtrack."
"We were originally looking for a place to stay in Chishang, but everything there was fully booked because of a big local event. Luckily, we found this Airbnb nearby — and it turned out to be way beyond our expectations! The area sits along the beautiful Taitung Longitudinal Valley. While Chishang is the most famous town, Gaoliao offers the same stunning scenery but with fewer crowds. Route 193, which connects these small towns, is one of the most beautiful drives in Taiwan. This Airbnb is truly a hidden gem — clean, cozy, and full of a warm, family vibe. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We had such a lovely stay. Highly recommend, and thank you again!"
