"Good location, friendly staff, and clean/quiet dorm. Nice kitchen."
"The 1.5 showers for the entire dorm were fine with only three guests staying , but I think it would be annoying during a busy time. No towels provided. No hand soap provided in small bathroom (dispensers were empty). While pillow and duvet were comfortable, bed itself was very hard, so I didn't sleep well."
"Mr. Lai, the owner/keeper, was great. He provided me a lot of good information, such as tourist attractions, where to eat, transportation, etc. He loaned me his bike, so I was able to go to the ferry harbor/terminal before its closing at 5 PM. With his bike, I visited all the local tourist attractions. He even arranged transportation (taxi) for me and another guest to go to the ferry harbor/terminal very early next morning."

"We were originally looking for a place to stay in Chishang, but everything there was fully booked because of a big local event. Luckily, we found this Airbnb nearby — and it turned out to be way beyond our expectations! The area sits along the beautiful Taitung Longitudinal Valley. While Chishang is the most famous town, Gaoliao offers the same stunning scenery but with fewer crowds. Route 193, which connects these small towns, is one of the most beautiful drives in Taiwan. This Airbnb is truly a hidden gem — clean, cozy, and full of a warm, family vibe. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We had such a lovely stay. Highly recommend, and thank you again!"

"This is such a lovely place to stay. If you have the chance, do not hesitate to book it. The hotel is new and decorated with great taste and eye for detail. Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is delicious and generous with fresh fruits. The owner and staff were so kind and helpful to us, our kids got to see the animals they keep on the premises which they loved! It is located in a more quiet area around Sun Moon Lake which was great for us, we found some very good restaurants nearby and the area is very easy to drive around."

"Super clean, really nice staff, very friendly and accommodating (they held our bags for us in the morning and let us charge our phones after check out in the front lobby). Bath tub and shower were really nice too, very spacious! And the balcony was cute. Hotel is very close to the lake side pier so was good for a walk after dinner. Lots of bike rental shops in the area and really close to the tourist shuttle stop for Shuishe Visitor Center. Note that the front desk closes at 18:00 so it’s important to be there before it closes."
