"If it wasn't for my packed schedule I would've stayed here longer! This hostel is great for solo backpackers wanting to stay in a private bedroom. The owner, King, is a very friendly guy and his dog, Jingjing is the cutest! He creates a great, sociable atmosphere in the hostel."
"The only thing I didn't like was how you can easily hear your neighbors from the other rooms (or be heard), but everyone was very considerate so it wasn't a problem."

"- The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. There was no issue checking in late as they live in the same building. - The location is great for exploring all the conventional attractions of Tainan. Everything is within walking distance. - Despite some concerns about noise isolation prior to arriving, I found my stay quiet and I never felt disrupted in my sleep. - The washing machine is available to use for free, which was a nice surprise."
"If anything, as the host also discussed with me, there might be newer properties available at lower prices in Tainan. However, their service is hard to match, and I’d gladly return the next time I visit Tainan."
"I really liked the bed sheets and linen, they were really comfortable. I was quite surprised when I identified them to be 100% polyester, as I didn't expect such a smoothness and comfort from it. The staff was very friendly, too."

"The hostel host went above and beyond for us. He made sure that everything was ready for us, even when we arrived a little early. During our stay our son got a little sick and he went out of his way to recommend a clinic, let us borrow his thermometer, and offer pain reliever. He also provided recommendations for the area and was very welcoming. The location was near a lot of sightseeing spots and good food. We got the family room and it was perfect for our family of five. Definitely recommend this place."

"The location is ~20 min walk from the Taiwan Railways station of Tainan, right in the heart of the Chi Kan Lou area, cozy neighborhood and walkable to tons of good eats. My room was spacious, the bathroom was clean and (even without visible ventilation) dried real quick after shower. The beddings were super cozy. Host has been extremely responsive and helpful. We had wonderful tea times. Jing Jing (doggo) adorable. Will absolutely stay again."

"Minor element to have in mind No mirror in the room On the 4th floor. If you shower in the morning the pressure is low. It takes about 5 min to get to optimal pressure. I couldn't understand how to use the kettle so needed to go to the 1st floor to get water. Then to the second floor for hot water. Then to my room. But to be fair I did not really ask either."

"Staff was so helpful and ensuring we got dinner at restaurants. The day of departure we were giving a ride to the train station. The hosts speak very little English but was overcome with Apps. Area was quiet and near visitor centre and the jump off point of the paragliding. Great breakfasts; one at b&b abd one packed at day of departure."

"Japanese Quad room: I hardly ever give a 10 rating but this place really deserves it. It was the nicest accommodation out of 10 different properties where I stayed this time in Taiwan. The room is cozy, bright, beautiful with a peaceful energy. There are 9 windows in the room ! The Tatami bedroom was a bliss with very comfortable mattresses. The breakfast was delicious and was presented in a beautiful way. The host family was very friendly, kind and interesting. The house is located in a beautiful , natural and quiet surrounding. The garden felt very comfortable and the sound of frogs and crickets in the evening created a soothing soundtrack."
"We were originally looking for a place to stay in Chishang, but everything there was fully booked because of a big local event. Luckily, we found this Airbnb nearby — and it turned out to be way beyond our expectations! The area sits along the beautiful Taitung Longitudinal Valley. While Chishang is the most famous town, Gaoliao offers the same stunning scenery but with fewer crowds. Route 193, which connects these small towns, is one of the most beautiful drives in Taiwan. This Airbnb is truly a hidden gem — clean, cozy, and full of a warm, family vibe. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We had such a lovely stay. Highly recommend, and thank you again!"
