"The design of the building and rooms was really cool -- great industrial feel. Air-conditioning was a very welcome because it was hot when we visited. There weren't many other people there when we stayed so it was quiet. Had everything we needed. It is located on a residential street but Tainan is a very small city, so getting to any tourist sites is a short taxi or Uber ride away. No street noise"
"There is not an attendant stationed at the front desk typically, as would be present in a large hotel. This appears to be a family-owned small business. When we arrived, there was no doorbell and we weren't sure how to get enter. There was a sign on the front door stating you could call a phone number, but we struggled to call this phone number because we had foreign cell phones. After a few minutes of panic when there seemed to be no way of getting in, somebody came to the front and let us in and gave us a fob key that we used to enter. We never saw any hotel workers around after that. FYI, no elevator in case you have heavy luggage"

"We were originally looking for a place to stay in Chishang, but everything there was fully booked because of a big local event. Luckily, we found this Airbnb nearby — and it turned out to be way beyond our expectations! The area sits along the beautiful Taitung Longitudinal Valley. While Chishang is the most famous town, Gaoliao offers the same stunning scenery but with fewer crowds. Route 193, which connects these small towns, is one of the most beautiful drives in Taiwan. This Airbnb is truly a hidden gem — clean, cozy, and full of a warm, family vibe. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We had such a lovely stay. Highly recommend, and thank you again!"
"Excellent location beside the food stalls. The food vendors ended at 8 pm and was very quiet at night. The beds were comfortable and the staff very friendly."

"This is such a lovely place to stay. If you have the chance, do not hesitate to book it. The hotel is new and decorated with great taste and eye for detail. Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is delicious and generous with fresh fruits. The owner and staff were so kind and helpful to us, our kids got to see the animals they keep on the premises which they loved! It is located in a more quiet area around Sun Moon Lake which was great for us, we found some very good restaurants nearby and the area is very easy to drive around."

"Super clean, really nice staff, very friendly and accommodating (they held our bags for us in the morning and let us charge our phones after check out in the front lobby). Bath tub and shower were really nice too, very spacious! And the balcony was cute. Hotel is very close to the lake side pier so was good for a walk after dinner. Lots of bike rental shops in the area and really close to the tourist shuttle stop for Shuishe Visitor Center. Note that the front desk closes at 18:00 so it’s important to be there before it closes."
