"It was a low-cost option with no compromises on the service"

"Hard to think of anything that I didn’t like"

"Think of it as a rustic hiking lodge and you’ll be pleased."

"Rooms small and bathroom sort of primitive (shower gets entire area wet, 6ft ceiling)."

Taylor - 20/11/2023 01:29:56

"Great staff, very friendly, excellent English. You could pay by card (despite what other reviews were saying!). The view was stunning. Good local style breakfast."

"As advertised, the walls are a little thin, but they offer eye plugs at reception. It was a challenge to find the location on google maps."

"It is very well organised and in a very good location with beautiful views of the mountains. The rooms are well maintained and the service staff helpful."

"Love it that it’s tucked away. A huge compound. Was freezing cold when we were there, too foggy and with some rain. We couldn’t do much but only stayed at the hotel to rest and relax."

"Too cold, they should switch on the heater or fire place at common dining place. Even the bedrooms have no heater except the electric blanket and hot water shower."

Léo - 20/02/2025 07:19:34

"I arrived sick at the bus station, my pride made me try to reach the hotel by foot. Somebody saw me sitting on the side of the road trying to gather my forces. Once she knew where I was going, she reached them and a lady from the hotel came straight with a car to bring me to the hotel so I could rest. They were so nice with me, even helped me to try to find back the person who informed them the day before so I could thank her. Really awesome people!"

"Superb view from outside of our room. This is the best part of this accommodation. Heated bed. The room was quite spacious. Enough for 4 adults to move around. Bathroom with strong water pressure. Breakfast was ok. The restaurant has very good view."

"A bit of walking up hill is required. We were lucky that our driver's car can be driven up to our room. We saw another group to walk up the hill with their luggage. While the bed was heated, the room wasn't. It was a rainy day in April. The room was very cold. The toilet was so cold that taking a shower was a challenge. There was hot water in the shower, however it was very cold before and after the shower."

"Friendly and helpful staff. Love the view from mountain view room. Cosy and relax stay."

"My own fault is that i forgot to inform the property to assign a car accessible unit as there are two elderly traveling together. Staff was very helpful to help to bring up the luggage. Thumbs up to them."

"到鹿野高台很近 十幾分就到了 民宿主人都很客氣 民宿旁也種了很多植物 還有很特別的雞 環境也弄得很不錯"

"Staff was so helpful and ensuring we got dinner at restaurants. The day of departure we were giving a ride to the train station. The hosts speak very little English but was overcome with Apps. Area was quiet and near visitor centre and the jump off point of the paragliding. Great breakfasts; one at b&b abd one packed at day of departure."

"Clean, quiet and safe homestay. Walking distance to Yuli town. Basic facilities. Hassle free check in process. Good breakfast."

"Super clean, great location. Perfect base for exploring Yuli."

"The view from the window across the valley was nice."

"Great stay! Walking distance to some great duck noodles and a good breakfast spot in the morning. Responsive hosts. Quiet and clean. Would recommend"

"Japanese Quad room: I hardly ever give a 10 rating but this place really deserves it. It was the nicest accommodation out of 10 different properties where I stayed this time in Taiwan. The room is cozy, bright, beautiful with a peaceful energy. There are 9 windows in the room ! The Tatami bedroom was a bliss with very comfortable mattresses. The breakfast was delicious and was presented in a beautiful way. The host family was very friendly, kind and interesting. The house is located in a beautiful , natural and quiet surrounding. The garden felt very comfortable and the sound of frogs and crickets in the evening created a soothing soundtrack."

"We were originally looking for a place to stay in Chishang, but everything there was fully booked because of a big local event. Luckily, we found this Airbnb nearby — and it turned out to be way beyond our expectations! The area sits along the beautiful Taitung Longitudinal Valley. While Chishang is the most famous town, Gaoliao offers the same stunning scenery but with fewer crowds. Route 193, which connects these small towns, is one of the most beautiful drives in Taiwan. This Airbnb is truly a hidden gem — clean, cozy, and full of a warm, family vibe. The hosts are super friendly and welcoming. We had such a lovely stay. Highly recommend, and thank you again!"

"It had a great location and was very clean. They held our bags before we checked in which was kind of them."
