Villas in Burundi

"My family and I spent one night at Himma's Luxury guest house. The property was supper clean, staff was very polite and answer to any concerns or questions we had.I highly recommend this place. This place will be my go to whenever I'm here in Freetown, Sierra Leone."

I don't like the fact that there's is no TV in any of the rooms we rented.

"The owner was very responsive and helpful. I'm very thankful she allowed me to come with my dog! The place was cozy, a lot of space, very clean, there is everything you may need like dishes, towels, linens etc. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. A nice place to have a rest from city etc. I had to book the place during a festival in Ukmerge, so I just came here to sleep, so couldn't fully enjoy the stay there, but from the experience I had, would recommend this place!"

During heat, second floor where are the bedrooms can heat up, so I found it a bit hard to sleep. A few ventilators would help a lot!

"The villa is very clean and comfortable, just 5 min by foot to the lovely Beau Vallon beach and several restaurants and supermarkets. Daphne and her husband are wonderful hosts, and were there for us to plan our vacation and to help with all our wishes. Would definitely stay again!"

Det har ikke så meget med overnatningsstedet at gøre, men hvis man tager til øen i efteråret (jeg var der i oktober) er der ingen steder at gå ud, da alt er lukket. Det skal man huske da det bliver tidligt mørket og solen står sent op.

"First, transportation to and from airport great. Then arranged transport to and from beach and restaurant. Host incredible and made us welcome cocktails, cooked us breakfast and tended to our every need. My husband and I have never quite experienced anything like this kind of hospitality. We will definitely go back it felt like family. Good location for us to catch cruise and close to airport. Accommodations were roomy and comfy."

"The resort made visiting the exceptional reefs of the island easy and very enjoyable, with an excellent dive master to guide you. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Good location on the water, but no beach."

The buffet meals were mediocre.

"Beautiful views overlooking the sea. I saw a rainbow. The facility is set up to be self servic but you can also order food off the menu. Elevated local food was excellent. The host was very attentive and accommodating where possible."

The pool was a bit cool so I did not use it.

"We had an amazing stay at Mandala villa. It is quiet and beautiful space to relax in. We enjoyed all the features including the wifi, TV, sauna, hot tub and hot showers. The kitchen was modern and fridge space was large. I highly recommend staying here as it is conveniently located to public transportation which takes us to many lovely tourist attractions!"

"Secluded villa in a quiet corner close to Herceg Novi and a great base for exploring Boka Bay Area. Facilities and finish in the property to a very high level, pool and outdoor area fantastic. Bathroom and kitchen /living area a lovely space. The pool and outdoor area very classy and a great place to relax all day and a nice sunset over the mountains in the evening. A car not essential here as beach and village not too far away and taxis available readily to get in and out of Herceg Novi. Our host Nikola deserves a special mention he went over and above helping organise taxis and a private charter boat experience and his recommendations helped for our trip later on as we traveled around Montenegro. Best things can say is we’d come back and stay at Nikolas place again and recommend to friends."

Nothing, if there was one small thing I’d say more clothes hangers in the wardrobe but that’s really nit picking.

"On-the-beach location every bit as good as the photos we'd seen on Booking.com Linda and Louis were truly excellent hosts; nothing was too much to ask, and they were great at making activity and restaurant bookings for us as well as advising us on where to go and what to do. Hugely recommended!"

There are no mosquito nets. When you don’t like using AC it could be a problem.

"Spacious and perfect for a family of 6! Loved the location for us as we were trekking around the area! We did some Reykjavík, Golden Circle, and Blue Lagoon. Love the quiet community near the ocean with a perfect view to the north for lights!"

"La casa superó con creces nuestras expectativas, estaba muy equipada en todos los aspectos lo que hizo nuestra estancia mucho más fácil. Mantas, toallas,.. todo muy bien organizado en las habitaciones. El sótano muy acogedor para realizar celebraciones o reuniones de amigos."
