"The villa is very clean and comfortable, just 5 min by foot to the lovely Beau Vallon beach and several restaurants and supermarkets. Daphne and her husband are wonderful hosts, and were there for us to plan our vacation and to help with all our wishes. Would definitely stay again!"

"The location is great. We have very good privacy and there is a nice view to the lake. The reception lady was great and they answered to our requests very fast."

Weak wifi, not enough napkins, toilet paper. No soup liquid in the toilets. Other than that we were really satisfied.

"This place is Everything! I name escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. But still convient to get to most places. I would definitely recommend 10/10!"

The pool

"Everything was just beautiful. We had hot weather but it was cool inside and the pool was great. Thé location was close to Normanville for morning swims. We loved the surrounding gardens and eating outside under the grapevines. Everything was good quality and well thought out. It was friendly and relaxing. We loved the personal art and objects collection around the house and the way it was so carefully restored. It was a privilege to be able to stay there with our friends from Sweden who also loved the experience."

"Lovely luxurious place, with a cozy city centre close by. Great food, and a good bed. The Jacuzzi and shower were great too. More than enough breakfast with a variety of choices."

"We loved our stay at Athirige, it was exceptional. The staff were kind, very helpful and gave us many information about Dharavandhoo. The breakfast and the food were also delicious. Should we visit Dharavandhoo again, Athirige will definitely be our first choice."

"Very spacious, very private. It was comfortable. We were kindly met at San Marino bus station and taken to the villa. Also kindly taken to the supermarket first to buy some food as the villa is very isolated. Taxi was recommended to us, and was reliable and comfortable. The area was amazing to visit. Information was sent to us to answer our questions. Prompt response."

The villa was further away from the main area of San Marino than expected. As we did not have a car, we were reliant on a taxi, which worked out very expensive. There were a few items in the sink which looked as if intended to be washed up but forgotten. We struggled with sorting out the TV and also finding the right adapter for our chargers and could not find a familiar kettle. These were little things but frustrating after a long journey. It would have been helpful to have an information booklet to explain some of these things so we did not have to keep asking our host.

"The resort made visiting the exceptional reefs of the island easy and very enjoyable, with an excellent dive master to guide you. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Good location on the water, but no beach."
