"The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable"

Hot water in the shower wasn't Hot enough

"Beautifully landscaped and the room was kept very clean while we were there. Two separate things. 1) Raul Salas was amazing. He spoke very good English and was able to assist me with everything from getting a glass of wine to paying my bill! 2) The morning we left, I dropped my credit card. I realized it later in the day and called a friend of mine. She contacted the hotel and the gardener had found it! I got it back the next day. We are so grateful to the gardener who was so honest to turn it in! Thank you, sir."

The food was just ok.

"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds are comfortable. Very clean. Restaurant is recently renovated, beautiful and food was great for dinner and breakfast."

The beachfront access and views can't be beat, however it's a little far from town and therefore difficult to leave the hotel to go to restaurants, shops etc. without a car.

"J’avais choisi El rancho au vu de sa proximité avec le centre ville de Grand bourg et aussi parce que le petit déjeuner était compris… Malheureusement ce n’était pas le cas . “Unfortunately, some of the staff showed attitude, particularly 1 at the bar and another during breakfast service. Our server was not very friendly or helpful at first. Only after I made the effort to speak with her did her attitude improve. Better customer service would really improve the dining experience.”

The birds shit around the place and along with that is a lot of flys but the service team are working hardly to clean it and daily spreading the pesticide.

The guy at check out seemed frustrated with my questions about how to get my passport stamped. I speak French so it wasn’t the language barrier. I did figure it out tho!

Suggest a place to put used crockery from breakfast rather than just on the counter, especially if multiple guests. Maybe a bowl.

Though the room was mostly clean, there were some stains on our sheets. The friendly staff quickly rectified this. When we had to leave early for our safari, there was no staff available on site to unlock the gate and we had to do a real life jailbreak from the hotel! Also the water is reliant on solar so you may have to have a cold shower on a cloudy/rainy day.

"The property is located directly on the beach. It is quiet and the apartment is spacious. I absolutely loved it, but the location is on the opposite side of the island from almost all attractions. Rent a car, not from Andy’s at the Ferry, but definitely rent a car. Taking a taxi from one side of the island to the other is about $35-$40 one way."

Жили на третьем этаже, лестницы очень крутые, взрослым людям будет тяжело подниматься. Завтрак был включен, ожидание было, конечно, другое, но увы, сервис оставляет желать лучшего. Утром пошли на завтрак, девушка, встретившая нас с ходу сказала, что кроме яичницы ничего нет. В итоге принесли яичницу с колбасой, на вопрос из какого мяса, ответила грубо, что не знает. На 4 человека дали один чайник чая, попросили дополнительно еще чайник, но это уже было платным. В номере не помешало бы поставить большое зеркало и светильники. Думаю, такие мелочи дали бы уют в номерах.

Difficult to get to (rough bumpy narrow roads)but worth it once there.

"The hotel has basic accomodations: shared bathrooms, cold water shower. But for tropical climate I didn't need more. The hotel rates were unbeatable. I would stay again with no doubts. There is a bar nearby, so you could hear the singers/musicians until 9 or 10 pm. For breakfast you can buy coffee and baleadas, the best in the town. The diving shop was wonderful. Diving there feels like diving with people you know for very long time. They pay attention to your safety but at the same time are not too baby-sitting. Many people I met in there come annually, which tells you this place is unique."

Hope they find a solution to handle the brutal driver who did something like racing in the front of hotel

"If you want to walk in Ala-Archa valley and have a romantic diner int the restaurant there…but you don’t want to come back in Bishkek! This place is for you! Small nice hotel with lovely breakfast…alive trout in the swimming pool outside…many places to walk and warm up in sauna after!"

"First to start with the location, its in the center of zahle and close to everything; mini markets, restarurants, pubs, and all types of shops. Also close to the popular berdawni area. All are within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel management and staff were super nice and friendly. The value for the price paid was excellent."

The meals that were not included were very expensive.

"The beds were comfortable and if you found the private bathroom the shower there was the best I have ever had anywhere. Good pressure and hot water. The location is great because it is close to the shops. They have a restaurant there and while the prices are a bit steep the food was quite good."

The place is a hotel in the process of renovation. It is a little old and had seen grander days. Our rooms while having clean beds saw windows that had cobwebs on them and flaky paint. The kitchen is communal and there was just one mug for all. The dish rags were used and dirty. There is a huge clock tower which is a feature of the town and it chimes all through the night. So if you are a light sleeper ask for a back room off the road. The bar staff in the hotel were excellent but there was a dispute with the owner who had posted different information on Booking.com from the room we received. We wanted two separate beds and were initially given one. After additional money was paid we got one room with two beds.

The rooms are a good size and there was a nice deck. The bathroom had a pretty strong mildew smell and the shower was quite weak.
