"First of all, the Lodge is absolutely beautiful. We loved the architecture and attention to detail in every corner. The service was excellent, and the staff were very warm and welcoming, especially Allan who made us feel truly cared for. Special thanks to Silvia for her wonderful management and for creating such a peaceful quiet and relaxing experience. I was able to call and they were able to open the doors after I woke them up and accommodated me but it's quite a surprise if it says 24 hours front desk and then it actually isn't..."

"Charela's was so relaxing it's like a retreat,you hear the birds singing in the morning sitting on my balcony with my coffee it's so quiet and peaceful, dining staff was great, enjoy breakfast the most walking on the beach or just lounging under the coconut tree such tranquility."

The winding stairs up to my room. Otherwise my room was nice looking over the pool and garden.

Room a bit older

"Mercure is just a short drive away from the airport and we went with a transfer booked through Booking.com to making going to and from the airport streamlined. Check-in was quick and easy the staff were friendly and food was reasonably priced at the restaurant. The room was clean and the pool was great for the hot and humid weather. It was also close to supermarkets, movies and other restaurants which served a variety of food."

The bathroom felt a bit outdated.

"I really liked this hotel! While they were relatively small compared to the ones around it, the staff was really nice and kind, the vibe was really chill, perfect for a vacation."

Way too expensive for what is offered, having in mind the resort next door charges the same for all-inclusive. The dinner options (which was included in my rate) were also very limited, especially if you’re picky with food, or have some dietary restriction. The breakfast options were okay but nothing to rave about.

"The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is very charming and has incredible views. The bus stops directly in front of the hotel and there is a little convenience store right out front."

Our only fault with the hotel was the pillows. They are an odd size and quite lumpy. The beds were quite comfortable though.

"It has the best location which is close to the MRT line 14 (easy connecting to other destinations), and there is 1 small hall right next to the hotel. Staffs are friendly, supportive and quick response. I am satisfied with all."

No hot shower, which was inconvenient. Noisy installations that affected comfort (water pump, no well isolated for insects) The check-in process was a bit complicated, but since it's a family-run business, we were understanding.

"I was in Atlas Hotel. It’s really great. - The hotel provides 24 hours coffee, tea and water. It helps a lot when the weather changes. - The staffs are so nice and always willing to help. They speak English fluently. - The room is clean. Worth for money. - The location is close to the airport. Very easy to get there. I recommend to book this hotel when you are searching for the place to stay in Dushanbe."

"Wonderful view. Clean comfortable rooms with all the amenities we needed. Lounging area was great to relax after a busy day. Staff was very attentive and helpful for anything we needed. The restaurant on the hotel grounds was great!"

"Love Esch sur sure. Hotel had a great vibe, lots of old world charm, the 2 mannequins are both a bit freaky and funny. Odd item to come across . Chatty nice staff. Sauna & steam a welcome thing to visit after a long drive."

Breakfast room a little confusing as no one about to to ask where things were. In a different room and a bit here & there.

"Great location. One of the only hotels within quick walking distance of Noumea’s two best beaches and all their restaurants/cafes (Ansa Vata across the road and Bay de Citron). Our three bedroom apartment was perfect for our stay. Cleaned everyday by super friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was great. Fresh baguette on tap! Make sure you get an ocean view room for the daily sunsets!"

Male gym was small and barely any equipment. Pool needs more shade and something to give it more ambiance.

"The nature, the vibe, the soviet style memories- just to let you know its not for everyone- nothing fancy, at least not at the moment. It was an exceptional experience for sure. You will like it if you go with tight mindset of travel back in time. Food in the restaurant was nice, the owner is cool and the staff is friendly. Nature around is amazing, even a bat visited us in the room:))"

It definetely needs some tune up, at least to change the bedsheets, pilows for the starters (bringing your own for now isnt a bad idea), and then fix the broken wardrobes and handles.

"Loved the small, boutique size of the resort. Bar staff very friendly, great snorkeling and beach. Great proximity to red hook and the ferry to St. John."

My unit needed softer pillows! Maybe just a few different types, usually I travel with my own so maybe that’s the easiest solution!

The dinner was very average. No evening entertainment at all, for example, music in lounge, bar etc.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room only had a view of the rock wall in the backyard, so there wasn’t much natural light, but we didn’t mind. If you’re looking for better views, it’s worth booking an upgraded room."

Breakfast was good: not exceptional, but it had everything we needed to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

"Very helpful staff - they would coordinate taxi rides at good prices using a local app, and explain things to the driver in French. Really good food - loved the delicious green beans and the mixed vegetables. Also really enjoyed the unusual tuna omelette. Walkable location on quiet road, close to many beach bars, Good value stay."

The WiFi network has many overlapping networks with different numbers (Hotel Aurore 2, Hotel Aurore 4, etc.), and none of them would stay consistently online. At one point I was able to do 20 minutes of streaming, but at many other times I could not do photo uploading. If they could get a solid WiFi connection all under a single network, this would be a huge upgrade. The jacuzzi was not actually heated when I checked. I was in two sizes of rooms, and the A/C seemed to do a pretty good job in the smaller one, but struggled to cool the room in a triple room, which may reflect the size of the room vs. the A/C output. The shower did not actually work when I first arrived (though they were able to fix that within about 15 minutes.) Even when fixed, the shower water got lukewarm, not hot.
