The location is a bit far from the city center, so transportation can be limited without a car. However, the hotel provides a transportation if you need.

"The location is excellent, just a short walk to Skansin and Tinganes, making it a perfect base for exploring Tórshavn. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room only had a view of the rock wall in the backyard, so there wasn’t much natural light, but we didn’t mind. If you’re looking for better views, it’s worth booking an upgraded room."

Breakfast was good: not exceptional, but it had everything we needed to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

The birds shit around the place and along with that is a lot of flys but the service team are working hardly to clean it and daily spreading the pesticide.

"The location was perfect! The balcony gave us a great view of the harbor and the activity. The room was large, two beds--great! I think the TV worked well, but that was less important to us. The room was bright and light."

It is never fun to need to put toilet paper in the waste basket, but that's necessary, right? I cannot remember, but I think there was no guide to TV channels, which is something my husband likes. Again, not very important.

"Was a good place to stay on short notice going to the formula one race which was about 35 minutes away. The staff is really nice and helpful."

My biggest negative about the property was the bathroom was so tiny. The door couldn’t open up the whole way so if you are a bigger person I don’t recommend staying here. I am not that big of a person and felt crammed.

A little more options and selection at the small shop they have on site would be good - maybe like some newspapers, fresh pastries or fruit would be nice to have.

"We were exceptionally allowed to return after check out time to shower as our flight was later that night. We were also allowed to check in a couple hours before check in time as our flight was early that morning. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety. There should have been more fruit options though. The pool area was well kept and clean and so was the room. The staff were prompt and helpful."

It would have been nice if we were allowed to check out on a complimentary basis a couple hours later as our flight was at 7.50 pm.

It’s the islands, so bring earplugs if roosters bother you. They are everywhere across ALL islands - Cook, Fiji, French Polynesia, Hawaii. A product of human migration.

"The room was quite nice, clean & well planned. Good lighting. Ventilation was a bit challenging. The upper window was very hard to reach to open & close. Quiet for right on the street."

"This was a nicely designed hotel, with spacious rooms. Conveniently located for Yala safari pickups. There was even a peacock to greet us every morning outside our balcony!"

Though the room was mostly clean, there were some stains on our sheets. The friendly staff quickly rectified this. When we had to leave early for our safari, there was no staff available on site to unlock the gate and we had to do a real life jailbreak from the hotel! Also the water is reliant on solar so you may have to have a cold shower on a cloudy/rainy day.

Every request was met with kindness, and their presence added a personal touch that you don't often find in luxury boutique hotels. If you are looking for a place where you are treated with authentic hospitality and care, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The rooms are a good size and there was a nice deck. The bathroom had a pretty strong mildew smell and the shower was quite weak.
