"I loved being right by the water on our balcony listening to the crashing waves. The swimming was excellent (other than when a group of young men stood with beer bottles in hand in the water, blocking the way on the clear path leading out beyond the stones). I liked the casual Caribbean “non trendy” room with good basic plumbing and windows that opened. I liked the availability of staff who asked if we needed anything."

Our room was next to the restaurant where there was noisy off-key karaoke (well really just yelling) on a couple of nights, making me have to shut my windows. I do not like to use AC (especially when temperatures never went above 28C) so it was a disappointment to have to close windows because of noise. I didn’t like the coffee in the room.

"The location was just off the main street in a cool old building, and was walking distance from both the train station and the ferry. The room itself was comfortable with a good shower. My window overlooked the courtyard."

"The location is great -- just 5 minutes to the beach and close to the main cafés and restaurants. The apartment is a good size and has a blackout system, so you don’t get sunlight coming in. The hotel also has two of the best restaurants in town -- Bottega and Plaza -- and they are fantastic."

I was not provided with a tea kettle or a hair dryer, as listed in the room description. Also, you can hear people walking to their rooms and staff talking while cleaning.

"Pros: Location is great for A - Nice to wake up and see the mountain tops through your skylight Breakfast - Lovely breakfast buffet. Good variety of Norwegian ®ular breakfast staples Staff at counter friendly and answered our questions about area/accommodations Free parking - big bonus since Norway usually requires payment for parking Although shared bath, we had no wait for WC. We had a sink in our room so only shower and toilet facilities are shared."

Cons: You may hear noise from people outside on public deck. During our stay all observed quiet time after 11PM. We always have ear plugs so we are ok.

The beachfront access and views can't be beat, however it's a little far from town and therefore difficult to leave the hotel to go to restaurants, shops etc. without a car.

"The hotel has basic accomodations: shared bathrooms, cold water shower. But for tropical climate I didn't need more. The hotel rates were unbeatable. I would stay again with no doubts. There is a bar nearby, so you could hear the singers/musicians until 9 or 10 pm. For breakfast you can buy coffee and baleadas, the best in the town. The diving shop was wonderful. Diving there feels like diving with people you know for very long time. They pay attention to your safety but at the same time are not too baby-sitting. Many people I met in there come annually, which tells you this place is unique."

"The location was perfect! The balcony gave us a great view of the harbor and the activity. The room was large, two beds--great! I think the TV worked well, but that was less important to us. The room was bright and light."

It is never fun to need to put toilet paper in the waste basket, but that's necessary, right? I cannot remember, but I think there was no guide to TV channels, which is something my husband likes. Again, not very important.

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the staff made us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, but the real highlight was the owner of the hotel who drove us and showed us around to all the top attractions. Every detail was handled with care. "This was a nicely designed hotel, with spacious rooms. Conveniently located for Yala safari pickups. There was even a peacock to greet us every morning outside our balcony!"

Though the room was mostly clean, there were some stains on our sheets. The friendly staff quickly rectified this. When we had to leave early for our safari, there was no staff available on site to unlock the gate and we had to do a real life jailbreak from the hotel! Also the water is reliant on solar so you may have to have a cold shower on a cloudy/rainy day.

"-The location is great. -The view is amazing — you’re surrounded by skyscrapers, city / sea view. -Staff are friendly, cooperative, and respond very quickly to any request. -The hotel is clean. -Check‑in and check‑out procedures are very quick. -The room is spacious. -Breakfast is tasty. -Flexible check‑in and check‑out times."

-The TV is not a smart TV. -The bed is small and not comfortable enough. -From time to time, food odors can be smelled, especially on the upper floors. -There is no heating during cold winter nights — the AC keeps running even when it’s cold. -The shower area slope is incorrect, causing water to flow outside the shower area. -The price is slightly high. .. Improvement Areas (Not Considered Cons): -There are many open parking spaces around the hotel, but it would be great if the hotel could manage one of these areas as an official hotel parking lot. -The dining area needs to be expanded to accommodate more guests. -The number of power sockets is not enough. -Hot water takes time to arrive — it’s not instant, so this should be improved.

"Mo provided fantastic hospitality. Very helpful and genuinely welcoming. The hourly rate concept is honestly brilliant, especially for travelers in transit who just need a comfortable place to recharge. Convenient, practical, and run by great people. The paperwork process is a little much so maybe upgrade that. Otherwise, perfect!"

"The location is excellent, just a short walk to Skansin and Tinganes, making it a perfect base for exploring Tórshavn. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room only had a view of the rock wall in the backyard, so there wasn’t much natural light, but we didn’t mind. If you’re looking for better views, it’s worth booking an upgraded room."

Breakfast was good: not exceptional, but it had everything we needed to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

"If you want to walk in Ala-Archa valley and have a romantic diner int the restaurant there…but you don’t want to come back in Bishkek! This place is for you! Small nice hotel with lovely breakfast…alive trout in the swimming pool outside…many places to walk and warm up in sauna after!"

Rooms are quite old…absolutely not equipped

"Was a good place to stay on short notice going to the formula one race which was about 35 minutes away. The staff is really nice and helpful."

My biggest negative about the property was the bathroom was so tiny. The door couldn’t open up the whole way so if you are a bigger person I don’t recommend staying here. I am not that big of a person and felt crammed.
