"Location was convenient for access to the airport which was important to me. Breakfast was ok. Staff were nice and friendly. Room was comfortable and well appointment. The small pool deck and gym were nice inclusions."

A little more options and selection at the small shop they have on site would be good - maybe like some newspapers, fresh pastries or fruit would be nice to have.

"Very good value in expensive Djibouti. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is included and good although not much variation. Big shop close by and the Ethiopian restaurant looks maybe not so fancy but the dishes are superb."

The only issue we had was that the water in the room was a little yellow. We were told that all the water on the island was that way, so I don’t think it could have been helped.

"Beautiful location, well kept grounds, friendly staff. Our kids loved the pool, which was almost too warm. Wifi at the beach and pool was nice. Room and beds were great."

The food at the restaurant was, like a lot of food in New Caledonia, more expensive than it seems like it should be.

"The place exceeded our expectations. It's very calm and peaceful here, beautiful surroundings, you can use kayaks and other gear, plenty of sunbeds and places to chill and enjoy."

The guy at check out seemed frustrated with my questions about how to get my passport stamped. I speak French so it wasn’t the language barrier. I did figure it out tho!

"Beautifully landscaped and the room was kept very clean while we were there. Two separate things. 1) Raul Salas was amazing. He spoke very good English and was able to assist me with everything from getting a glass of wine to paying my bill! 2) The morning we left, I dropped my credit card. I realized it later in the day and called a friend of mine. She contacted the hotel and the gardener had found it! I got it back the next day. We are so grateful to the gardener who was so honest to turn it in! Thank you, sir."

The food was just ok.

"This was a nicely designed hotel, with spacious rooms. Conveniently located for Yala safari pickups. There was even a peacock to greet us every morning outside our balcony!"

Though the room was mostly clean, there were some stains on our sheets. The friendly staff quickly rectified this. When we had to leave early for our safari, there was no staff available on site to unlock the gate and we had to do a real life jailbreak from the hotel! Also the water is reliant on solar so you may have to have a cold shower on a cloudy/rainy day.

"It was a very pleasant stay. Didn't feel any stress at all. Very Friendly staff. Clean rooms and washrooms. Space is a bit small but for the amount I paid it was worth it. Less than a minute walk to the bus halt. 10 minute walk to the MRT. Saves a lot of money for transportation as well. Highly recommended for a few nights budget stays."

"Was a good place to stay on short notice going to the formula one race which was about 35 minutes away. The staff is really nice and helpful."

My biggest negative about the property was the bathroom was so tiny. The door couldn’t open up the whole way so if you are a bigger person I don’t recommend staying here. I am not that big of a person and felt crammed.

The birds shit around the place and along with that is a lot of flys but the service team are working hardly to clean it and daily spreading the pesticide.

The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, but the real highlight was the owner of the hotel who drove us and showed us around to all the top attractions. Every detail was handled with care. "We were exceptionally allowed to return after check out time to shower as our flight was later that night. We were also allowed to check in a couple hours before check in time as our flight was early that morning. The breakfast was great. Lots of variety. There should have been more fruit options though. The pool area was well kept and clean and so was the room. The staff were prompt and helpful."

It would have been nice if we were allowed to check out on a complimentary basis a couple hours later as our flight was at 7.50 pm.

Жили на третьем этаже, лестницы очень крутые, взрослым людям будет тяжело подниматься. Завтрак был включен, ожидание было, конечно, другое, но увы, сервис оставляет желать лучшего. Утром пошли на завтрак, девушка, встретившая нас с ходу сказала, что кроме яичницы ничего нет. В итоге принесли яичницу с колбасой, на вопрос из какого мяса, ответила грубо, что не знает. На 4 человека дали один чайник чая, попросили дополнительно еще чайник, но это уже было платным. В номере не помешало бы поставить большое зеркало и светильники. Думаю, такие мелочи дали бы уют в номерах.

"Our unit with kitchen and 2 bedrooms was spotless. Looks like we were given a set of new dishes as well as new bed sheets. The location was great. Could be within easy walking distance of the airport if carrying only light luggage. Within easy walking distance of Magazine Beach where we found the Aquarium Cafe, probably the best meal we had while visiting the island. Enjoyed the breeze from the top of Calliste Hill as well as watching, from my porch, local life at the gathering junction of Calliste Street and Coffee Street. Lots of local van taxis going either way, if needed to get anywhere quickly. Although the back of the Inn has the big views; we ended up with a street view unit, which was OK (plus lively) for 2 days. There is no longer a restaurant next door, although there are 2 small simple bars, one next door, the other across the street. Big off street parking lot if you have a car. Responsive and friendly staff."

For maintenance, I would probably freshly paint with water proof paint, the lower portions of the bathroom walls of the unit we were given; the walls just looked a bit water stained from shower use. The water cisterns make a loud noise when water taps are used, although it didn't last long plus our unit was located at the opposite end of the building from the cisterns. I just noticed the grinding noise and wondered if something in the water system was about to fail; the water pipes coming out of the cistern sounded unhappy.

"The staff at the hotel was very friendly. After checking my ID and hotel reservation, he quickly helped me complete the check-in process. The whole thing took about 10 minutes."

There was some water on the bathroom floor, which I guess was caused by a leaking pipe. It did affect the overall experience a bit.

La piscine était sur entretien et en train detre remplir. Dommage pour nous que on ne pouvait pas nager. Mais prochainement ca sera possible.
