"Amazing location, excelelnt staff, food was really up to standards and the beach is just amazing. They also provided us with a room to take shower on our day of leaving after a full day of beach and sunbathing."

Bed and pillows, especially pillows should be updated or provided with options. I ended up not sleeping most of the night. Plus there is a club next to the hotel and although I understand it is not their fault, it needs to be addressed. For the money we paid, it cannot be that sleep, which is the most important thing when staying in a hotel, is not comfortable.

The dinner was very average. No evening entertainment at all, for example, music in lounge, bar etc.

"The hotel has very nice reasonably priced rooms facing the lake and the island..The best being those to the right as you face the lake, those to the left have small windows. The rooms are comfortable but in need of a little update. This goes for the hotel as a whole but the great views are the bonus and it's only an 11 minute walk to the island."

The hotel needs some care and attention to ensure the physical appearance is improved.

Way too expensive for what is offered, having in mind the resort next door charges the same for all-inclusive. The dinner options (which was included in my rate) were also very limited, especially if you’re picky with food, or have some dietary restriction. The breakfast options were okay but nothing to rave about.

Missing soap and shampoo in the bathroom, only 2 towels provided and two small pillows. The airport shuttle does not operate when needed. So many flights from Europe arrived in the evening after 7 pm and the shuttle only works until 7 pm? Also forget it if you need a shuttle before 730 am to catch a flight. For such an international location as Libreville, it would be helpful if the concierge staff could speak some English or understand it. Use google translate...but don't expect much patience from the concierge staff. In Douala, the Onomo staff were more accommodating and bilingual. For the LBV location, only the early morning concierge staff were professional.

From the front of the property when we arrived wasn’t impressive , we thought it need a power wash , and thankfully we notice two days after it indeed did had a power wash . Appearance at first sigue is important for business in the hospitality industry"

Most of our stay the elevator wasn’t working and had to resort to use the stairs , but in our last day of stay the elevator came back operations then went Down again after a few hours

I seat at the pool they come to me asking me if I want something,ask for a drink 🍸 and they forgot about it 😅

"The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Although it's a hotel it felt very homely and they made me feel like family. Yuri in the restaurant made an extra effort."

I thought perhaps the restaurant menu was a little limited. The same soup every evening.

"Everything was excellent. The staff’s behavior was very good, especially Mr. Mohammad at the reception, and Mr. Mazan and Chef Omar in the restaurant. They were very kind and attentive, constantly checking to make sure everything was fine and quickly providing anything we needed."

However, the hotel refrigerator was empty and there was no minibar. Also, whenever we ordered something, we had to pay immediately, as it could not be charged to the room.

"Wonderful view. Clean comfortable rooms with all the amenities we needed. Lounging area was great to relax after a busy day. Staff was very attentive and helpful for anything we needed. The restaurant on the hotel grounds was great!"

Also really liked the filtered water station and glass refillable bottle instead of disposable plastic bottles of water - appreciated the eco-focus! It’s a long walk to the centre of town but a pleasant one (45-50 minutes) and we walked both ways for the exercise as we were beginning a long 37 hour journey home - but the hotel does provide a shuttle if you prefer that."

Only a small observation is that the hallways have different coloured spot lighting (purple green blue etc) which initially felt “cheap” or retro - like we were in a small town 1980s disco/motel. But it was just a stylistic choice/first impression that didn’t impact our stay and did not impact on the room or larger hotel grounds which were lovely.

"The location was great for biking. The bike path runs across the street from the hotel. The grounds were lovely with the reserve in the back. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a lot choices. Perfect for fueling up for bike rides. Being able to rent a car on property was very convenient for exploring further out on the island."

We liked everything, it was nice to have the option to enjoy dinner right at the hotel and a bonus that there was a discounted first night for the dinner. The buffet was good and breakfast was great as well. If the weather permits it would be wonderful to be able to sit outside overlooking the ocean.

"Charela's was so relaxing it's like a retreat,you hear the birds singing in the morning sitting on my balcony with my coffee it's so quiet and peaceful, dining staff was great, enjoy breakfast the most walking on the beach or just lounging under the coconut tree such tranquility."

The winding stairs up to my room. Otherwise my room was nice looking over the pool and garden.

"Everything. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. Really liked that it’s not a busy main road but close to the old city centre. The suite was a mini apartment. Gorgeous high ceilings and layout. The staff were friendly and polite. Always greeting you. It’s quiet and charming."

"The location was great, within walking distance of everything in Colonia. The breakfast was outstanding, and the manager, Yang Gang, was just amazing. He was on his own for most of our stay, and he did everything himself: the cooking, servicing the rooms, and driving us around."

The hotel was built about 30 years ago and was a beautiful structure with extensive facilities, but wooden structures don't hold up well in the climate of Yap. It's really showing its age, and could use some renovation.

Beautiful room with tasteful decor and very comfortable bed, and the balcony was lovely - roomy enough to sit on and the castle view was beautiful. Definitely recommend the upgrade. Good shower with large, fluffy towels - not something you see in many hotels. I appreciated the vegan options at breakfast - in addition to the usual stuff, there were hot dishes like soy patties, rosti, sauteed vegetables, and beans. Everything is clearly marked with allergens so it's easy to see what's vegan."

I would have liked to see some vegan options on the hotel restaurant menu and/or room service. There were a couple of nights when I didn't feel like going out but there was really nothing, so I ended up ordering on Wolt.

"The property was in a great location. Staff were VERY accommodating & helpful. 24 hr room service & bar. Pool was nice and there were life guards. There were local vendors in the lobby whom you could purchase goods from."

"The cleaning staff did a fantastic job. The front desk staff was exceptional. Serhie was incredibly helpful in getting me a train ticket back to Poland. He was very patient and stayed late on a Friday evening to help me even though I'm sure he wanted to go home. The older male bartender was very friendly and kind. The food from the bar was good. I ate 2 or 3 meals at the bar. The breakfast was delicious and has really improved considerably since the last time I was here about 3 and 1/2 years ago when they had breakfast in the second floor bar area. It was very fresh and they had many options."

There wasn't really anything I didn't like. Premier Hotel Rus has always been an outstanding hotel since I first started coming to Kiev in 2012.
