"The facilities are very well maintained. Plenty of activities are available. Quality of food is outstanding.the bread is delicious. Great location. What I disliked is the quality of the underwater life in the area and , while many staff members were smiling and willing to make your stay very pleasant, others were very distant and cold. It is a kids-friendly hotel so if you are looking for a calm place , you may not find here what you are looking for. Overall We would chose the same place again in the Grand Baie area"

"The property itself is impeccable ,beautiful, well maintained, and truly inviting. I have absolutely nothing to complain about regarding the facilities. The food was good, with lighter flavors and not heavily seasoned, which I personally appreciated. The pork chops were definitely the highlight of my dining experience absolutely delicious."

Some of the reception staff, including one male receptionist, were not as friendly as one would expect in a hospitality setting. However, there was one receptionist who was exceptionally warm and welcoming..unfortunately, I didn’t get her name, but she truly made a difference in my experience. At the restaurant, one of the female attendants who assisted me every evening was also very kind and professional. On the downside, I felt uncomfortable at times because a few staff members repeatedly asked why I was alone. I found this persistent questioning unnecessary and somewhat intrusive.

You will likely want to rent a car since the attractions you can walk to are nice but limited; with a car we really enjoyed Anguilla from this location. It was a bit on the pricey side for just my wife and I, but would be a great option for a larger group or for families.

"There was a great breakfast - up to two dishes could be ordered for the selected time. The area is very well kept which should be the case for a golf field, that I could see from my window. It was silent all the time."

The only disadvantage was the cold temperature: I could not ejnjoy a table and terrace. But that is not about the great hotel. That is about November in Latvia!

"The location was wonderful! I loved the hot pot on site and the sauna! The proximity to so many water falls and Laugarfell was great! We enjoyed the cute museum on site and appreciated the 50% discount! The staff was incredibly helpful. We forgot a suitcase and they quickly realized our mistake and called us before we had been gone more than a few minutes. It was a quick turnaround to be reunited with our belongings! So kind and thoughtful!"

"Very helpful and accomodating team in reception and the main restaurant. We loved our room: generously sized, nicely decorated, convenient kitchenette corner. The nature pool was fantastic, and it was great to be able to use resort equipment (snorkeling, bikes, etc). The food was very good, we ate well. 🙂"

We loved the location and food in the beach bar, unfortunately the server there was not very good: not especially friendly or quick.

There was a water leak coming from the toilet. Housekeeping was told about it on the second day because we only noticed it at the end of the first night. However, it was not addressed at all. We kept using towels to soak up the water and they just kept taking those, mopping up the water and giving us fresh towels everyday.

The Stowe was not working properly. No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Everything is frozen at the restaurants or almost everything: pizza, fish.

"I had the most wonderful stay! The island was so incredibly picturesque, my chalet dreamy, the food phenomenal and Annarine and Rodney were absolutely gems! I felt so very safe and well minded. The wifi in the restaurant was top notch. Will definitely be back again soon! 🩷"

"The property made a wonderful impression from the start. It had an elegant motif, thoughtfully executed to be both aesthetically pleasing and calming to the mind and soul. The customer service was 5 star! The room for the massages was very unique and inspiring. Also many big and small details made the cabins super photogenic and very connected to the surrounding forest, great for reflection and romance."

There is no closet for storing clothes, and good sleep quality may be elusive. Some maintenance issues unfortunately distracted a bit from the peace of the environment, but they were dealt with quickly and graciously by the attentive staff. Next time I might only stay for one night, so that the small issues don't distract as much from the ambience. It was overall a lovely romantic stay.

The pool area is relaxing and beautiful. We loved the snorkeling, both swim out and a chartered boat trip. Incredible coral and sea life! The deciding factor in choosing this resort was the food reviews and they were spot on. Every meal simply blew us away. Imagine living right next to the best restaurant you’ve ever been! Delicious food beautifully prepared and impeccable service. It was heaven! We were genuinely sad to leave and are already planning a trip back."
