Apartments in Cyprus

"Very friendly host, she was waiting to hand me the key, clean facility, safe area, public transportation was easy to go to city and shopping"

"Swazi dreams is a place for people who like quiet holiday😀 There are several huts with comfortable beds. No aircon or fan. They are located on mountains with nothing close by. There is hot water for shower and drink water direct from tap. You should book dinner in advance or buy everything in town before returning to hut. No 🛜 internet there. Evening you can see plenty stars on sky and nice sunset. We drive to towns to visit park, life of local and return to mountain before 5pm . Nice experience but 2 days are more than enough."

No internet so it I really hard for international traveler like us. We can't download gps for roads.

Steep, winding road up from town. Car access only, almost impossible to walk.

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . Ps look after Max well we will return ."

Genuine village stay

"Das Haus war sehr schön dekoriert, voll ausgestattet, sauber. Preis war top für die ganze Ausstattung. Eine Wäscherei war vor Ort vorhanden. Der Check-in lief reibungslos."

Nach der Bitumen mußten wir ungefähr 500m in einer nicht bitumierte Straße. Leider sind nicht alle Straßen in Yaoundé mit Bitumen

"The apartment welcomes us in a sparkling clean condition with all the home equipment that we need. It has a private car park with security, we felt safe around the neighbourhood. It is worth mentioning that the apartment is located in a very convenient neighbourhood. Will surely recommend!"

Far from restaurants and shopping - need a rental car

"Clean and comfortable. We ended up with a 2 bedroom unit so did not have the apartment relating to the pictures. The communication was good, the place was quite nice and worked well for a quick overnight on our way through."

After we booked the one bedroom apartment and had confirmation for our 4 person family the host messaged to say the apartment was better for 2-3 people and they have a larger 2 bedroom/ 3 bed unit that may work better. I thought that was a nice complimentary gesture until they messaged to say it was going to be double the price. I replied that we would just stay in the original one bedroom (listing says up to 4 people) as our boys were happy to sleep on the hide-a-beds as per the listing description. She then confessed that actually the room we booked was not available, so then offered a much lower price to accommodate us. We still paid more than originally planned however it was later in the day and did not want to start a search over again. The place ended up fine, good value, was clean/ comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We just felt that the host should have been honest upfront rather than seeing if we would pay double first…

the keys were not in the keybox as per the instructions which causes stress (I am from China and don't speak Dutch)

"The apartment has great location, view and the interior is simply amazing. We had very nice and cozy atmosphere, everything is clean and functional. The views are spectacular (we caught even a bit of Northern Lights). A great value for money when travelling in Greenland! And the host was super nice, arranged a boat trip for us the next day, taking care of all logistical details."

No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

no signboard outside the building to locate it; 2ndly only 2 pillows were there on a large double bed, so I will suggest to add 2 more to it.

"The accommodation was in the flat, which was on the first Floor. It was a private room with AC and TV. You could cook in the kitchen. McDonald's was a one-minute walk away. The public beach is 5 minutes by car. Qidfa beach. The beach is very clean. The landlord is a very friendly and nice person. The flat had no small kids, and it was very calm. Close to Fujairah and Khor Fakkan. You would stay here 1 or more nights."
