"The location of South Wind Guesthouse was excellent: just a few steps from the harbor and from numerous wonderful restaurants! Breakfast was simple but just what we needed to start the day."

Nothing; it was an excellent stay and we would absolutely stay again if we go back to Marsaxlokk!

"The personal attention of the wonderful owner stood out for us. He went out of his way to collect us from the ferry and take us to the airport the next day. He provided us with a fabulous breakfast too - the best we’ve had over our whole trip. We loved meeting him and talking to him."

"Good place for a getaway with your wife and children; nevertheless, it's pretty far from the city, so you would need to have a car. There are several villas with lots of rooms."

It's noisy in the morning. It may not be comfortable for the guys who like to sleep for a long time in the high season. Also, our apartment has a separate balcony from the other room, so if your neighbors like to smoke in the morning, you will feel that as well. But if you are an early bird, this pearl is for you.

I had difficulty locating the guesthouse. I suggest you have a signpost at the entrance of the Junction.

Ideally located to visit tourist attractions within reasonable radius. Piggs Peak town 1km away and provides all necessary shops, fuel stations and off course a KFC."

When it was raining a bit water dripping inside from roof. But it’s ok bcs I think that’s drawback from the building design.

missing toilet paper :). We had to turn off the fridge for it was too noisy during the night

La cama es un poco incomoda y la habitación bastante calurosa para el verano pero hay un ventilador.

"This is the best place where you can stay! It's clean and comfortable and maybe not in the very center town but you meet a very nice , friendly and lovely family. In Italy we say "you find a friend, you find a treasure", this is what you're going to live."

"Summer Lodge is really nice hotel with traditional Greek ornaments. Very clean, very tidy. They have really comfortable beds. Mr Vasilios, Mrs Rebeka and Mrs Athena, our hosts, helped us to find rent a car and with the instructions what to visit on the Crete."

The rooms are quite small, and could be refreshed. Plumbing is antiquated, but functional.
