Some of the service providers attitude especially at the front desk in the kitchen. The lady was not kind at all and she behaved in haughty manner, just to hand over a bill. When I took dinner I asked for the bill with the man but it didn’t come, in the following morning I had to check out. I went to the reception in the morning and said I have a bill. The lady at the reception called to ask for my bill and it didn’t come. I went back in my room to take my luggage then the lady in the kitchen wanted me to handle the bill I couldn’t I had things in all my hands then I asked my daughter to take the bill! I found this attitude really insulting to me. Real lack of respect! Anyway…

"I enjoyed the quiet, hilltop location with views of the sea. I loved all the plants, the hammock in front of the cabin and the cabin itself. Very simple set up which I enjoyed."

"Loved our stay here. Great value for money in a beautiful setting."

The property is up a very steep hill (but we knew this before booking) so you would definitely need a car to get there. It wasn't an issue at all for us, but is good to know before booking.

maybe a nice sign or where to turn before the dirt road street would be nice to know , in case people ever feel lost or even at night when its hard to see.

"Very good vibes in the heart of the forest. I recommend to utilize golf cars to help gusts to go up to the Main Street , also they have to bring card machines, food and beverages to be ordered from the cottage."

Close to the main road but not much traffic at nigh + need to walk to the a little to shower & toilets.

Our clothes were beautifully washed. We would be happy to stay here again. Comfortable beds and nice view from the balcony."

Very little really. The set up of the bathroom made it that everything got wet but we didn’t feel it was a problem, especially as there was plenty of warm water at all times and the water pressure was good.

"A wonderful small house in a quiete place. Not a big one but equipped very well with all necessary kitchen appliances including a dishwasher. There is also a nice terrace outside with a barbeque place. Everything was very clean, the house is very cozy"

Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

"I had a great stay. Wandered around and enjoyed the island life. Took a night walk with the hosts who were very friendly and attentive. They picked me up and returned me to the ferry. I was able to use one of their snorkels and mask. The shower was excellent and bed was very comfortable. I had a great stay. Thank you!"

There was construction going on all through the day and doors slamming early in the morning. The construction crew were loud and abrasive. The door slamming has to do with the way the door lock mechanism is set up. The ferry brought me to island very early and wasn't able to check into my room until much later.

"Location is wonderful, feeling very close to pure nature. We love the swimming, sauna, hanging matt, beach and the hike around."

The cottage is really small and stuffy esp when it’s hot. window without mosquito net, thus we cannot leave it open in the nite, too much mosquitos and horse fly.
