"A very nice and well equipped apartment on the 8th floor. The young lady who represented the owners was very helpful and nice about everything. The lady who was responsible for cleaning did a superb job."

As I have a problem with a leg I wrote the owners beforehand to be assured that access to the apartment was easy and was informed that it was, however, when we arrived it turned out that we first had to access one building and take a lift four floors and then walk a bit to access the building with the apartment. It should also be mentioned that there was a problem with the lock on the door leading out to the street, and it was often difficult to open from the outside. For the first three nights we were assigned an other apartment one floor below that was not up to standard at all. We were, however granted a discount for the inconvenience. We had not been informed about this beforehand. The television in the apartment did not work, and was not fixed during our stay. The apartment was on the eight floor and there was no sign for emergency exit on the floor. The owners lived in Italy and all contact with them was through the young lady representing them in Mindelo.

"The apartment was clean and pleasantly scented, exceeding my expectations. The location was ideal, with a store directly across from the hotel, a laundromat just a minute's walk away, and convenient parking."

The neighborhood wasn't the most upscale, but it was generally safe and conveniently close to many popular attractions. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi connection was frequently unreliable, so I had to rely on my mobile data.

"Great access via various public transportation. Lots of natural lights in the room and decent city/mountain view with solid curtains for evenings. Lightings are separated and controllable in each section of the room. Microwave, fridge and a kettle make your life easy. Minimum yet functional cutlery. Victoria Park is nearby and a great children’s playground is available!"

Hair dryer cannot be used in the bathroom. There’s no dish washing tools, detergent, or tea towels.

The limited spoken English at reception.

in room 518 , the room that we had stayed , the master bedroom bathroom looks a bit run down especially the bathtub which as been chipped . this is the first hotel that i have stayed which does not provide shower caps which seems really weird as its a 5 star hotel

"It was great to stay here on my way from Semonkong to Maseru. It was great to be able to recharge my batteries. Also, the cottage is in a beautiful setting and the dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Such a great place to stay. If I pass by the area again, I will definitely stay here again."

Good location

"It was a great location in Cobbs Cross, peaceful and quiet but close enough to walk to English Harbour and access the restaurants and bars there. The verandah was excellent with beautiful views of the harbour and the sounds of the tropical birds and tree frogs. Very clean and well equipped apartment, even with a cooler to take to the beach, which was useful. The bedroom was air conditioned which was great for sleeping. Danilo and Orietta were very welcoming and available for any questions. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Antigua!"

One day I heard construction in a neighboring unit. But it didn't last long and wasn't an issue.

"It was wonderful experience to stay there.I booked for one day but stay there two days. Mr Abrar and caretaker were helpful. Location was also good."

Nothing to don't like

"The breakfast, if there was one, was not offered in a clearly identifiable place. That didn't present a particular problem for me, as a nice cafe was open, right down the street."

I had no secure way to drop off the key at check-out, as the code to the box did not work, when I tried it this morning. It worked fine, at check-in. I left the key in the room, which I'd rather not have done.

The neigbourhood with dogs. Cannot take a walk for exercise and make the living inconvenient.

"We absolutely loved staying at Bolholt apartments, so much so that we were sad to leave. The location was a little out of the centre but the public transport made it extremely easy and fast to get wherever we wanted to go that it wasn't a problem. We would definitely recommend it and stay there again."

We had some noisy neighbours in one of the apartments adjacent to ours but that is totally out of the control of the management. People should learn to be a bit more considerate at 3am in the morning that's all.

"Very comfortable three-bedroom house with excellent facilities - everything worked well (air conditioning, kitchen, washing machine, hot water, wifi, Netflix on TV). Good location with easy street parking. Beautiful flowers in the yard. We even got to enjoy the neighbor's cat, who stopped by for frequent visits. Great place to relax!"

Washing machine problems many times but finally fixed with staff help

"The size of the apartment is great. The location between Baie des citrons and Anse Vata is excellent. The snorkelling across the road at Baie des Citrons is excellent, and the aquarium nearby is excellent. There are many restaurants nearby and it is a short drive (or medium walk) to get to a supermarket."

The weather was hot and there is only air conditioning in the bedrooms. It was hard to keep the apartment cool and the air conditioners struggled to keep up. The apartment itself is starting to be quite dated. When it was windy outside the balcony doors had a noisy whistle that was disruptive.

"This studio apartment was clean and spacious for a studio. It was good to have a mini kitchen, large tv screen (with Netflix!) and lift. The highlight was the fantastic view of the city at night. One of the hosts (Charles) spoke English which was helpful. They organised airport transfers for me (for a fee). Daily cleaning was included. The location is in Plateau, which is near the Pyramid. It is very quiet and empty on Sundays there."

The amenities list included a washing machine and coffee maker, neither of which were there. To his credit, Charles offered to do my washing for free and attempted to get a coffee machine for me to use (I ended up using my own strainer though). I recommend the amenities list is updated to be accurate.

Not their fault, but the internet on Palau is a bit weak - couldn't download my merlin app (same thing everywhere - not just at Ngermid Oasis).

"A very nice stay. Hosts were excellent. Very friendly, informative, relaxed but professional. The chalet was exactly what we had requested. To find somewhere quite private, 2 bedrooms with self-catering was a bonus. There aren't too many places that fit that criteria on the Island. Slightly out of town, but that's still very close on Norfolk. Norfolk is very different. Very nice. We can see why so many people get drawn there. 9 days was just enough. Very clean and well equipped."

Was all good. Anyone who finds fault here clearly shouldn't go to Norfolk.

The fridge was very old and kitchen hood as well, The window of the master bedroom was not closing so we had issue with the street noise at night.

Good location

"A lovely island of peace and tranquility in an otherwise busy Moroni. If it’s available on your dates, you’re in luck—don’t hesitate. This is by far the best you can get in this price category in the area. It’s a family-run guesthouse, and the owners do a great job maintaining a high standard, with uninterrupted water, electricity, and internet, which is not a given on the island. The décor is very attractive, especially in the restaurant area—you’ll be amazed."

Tall toilets

"Дуже гарно що була машина для прання. В таку жару декілька разів прали одяг. Балкон в тихий двір те що треба. Вход по коду теж супер що не треба одні ключі ділити на двох. Якщоб ще можна було використовувати підземний паркінг за окрему плату булоб супер. А так невелика квартира зі всім що було треба. Можна ще раз відвідати. Парковка загальна біля дому,"

В останій день відкрили шафу зі стаканами, і були розбиті склянки,а це каже про те що ніхто іх не мив. Або прибиральниця розбила і залишила щоб списати з відпочіваючіх. Золог повернули нічого не списували бо синули фото як знайшли розбиті стакани. Не хватало шампуня та мила. Хитався унітаз.

"So secluded, stunning scenery, right next to the water with a small beach to relax on. Area is very quiet."

A couple of comfortable chairs to relax on the patio would have been nice.

The amenities were outstanding. So much space in the rooms and everything I could ever need. The best stay of my entire trip. 10/10"

Literally nothing. I have zero complaints except I wish I had gotten to stay here longer!
