"Nice view of the town from the room. The staff was very helpful and provided prompt assistance. She carefully folded our clothes after doing laundry (laundry costs 5JD for 6kg). The bed and blankets are very cozy and spacious. They have a parking lot."

The room is quite small, no space to open our 2 suitcases. There were frequent electricity cuts which last 5 seconds. Very weak wifi signal.

The location isn’t the best, but far from restaurants and center (30mins walk max, it’s ok during winter but won’t be so enjoyable during summer)

"I don’t even have the words to explain how amazing everything was at this place. They were incredibly helpful from the very beginning, assisting with everything. They took me into town and to the airport, and constantly checked in to see if I needed anything. The views are stunning, and the facilities are more than enough. The kitchen has everything you could need as well. Thank you so much for the unforgettable time."

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

"We were on the Fishermen's trail and only stayed one night and did not really use all the amenities. It's a lovely place and I can highly recommend it. Lovely staff."

"The establishment is still in its early stages. The host arrived at the airport to welcome us and guide us to the location. We were their first guests. The place exudes a homely feeling with its neat design and beautiful interior decorations. The place has a small swimming pool, which elevates the ambiance altogether. The host and the staff are very kind and helpful, making our stay very pleasant."

There was nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect :)

My only two cons are: 1) Location, if you have a car you will be ok, if not, well, I am used to walk but the road here does not have much illumination or clean sidewalks, so, be careful 2) Hosts, your WIFI sucks(4MBps); I am in a new hostel and the wifi is exactly as bad as yours, so, for a moment I though this could be the regular wifi speed in the island, is not, on any coffee shop I found WIFI with speed up to 888Mbps.

"Everything you need was there. Felt like i never left home. Great accimodatuon,cozy and neat. Mom was amazing and made me food and the sons were great who made my night and were an extra ice in the cake to chat with. Bighest place i have been with very comfy bed and amazing shower. The host was amazing and made sure she cattered to our needs promptly. Will def come back here again."

Access road to the property is in bad shape.

"Patricia met us when we arrived and gave us the lowdown on how to enter our room and gave us some suggestions for places to eat, which were delicious! The room was cozy and nicer than I had imagined since it was in the basement. All in all, I would recommend this room to friends."

There was nothing we didn't like. If it had been raining, we might have a different opinion!

"I returned here after traveling around Gabon for six weeks. The staff here are so welcoming and the setting is tranquil — and with great air conditioning. I feel very lucky that they had a vacancy at the beginning and the end of my trip to Gabon! Merci beaucoup!!"

It is very cold and badly soundproofed, but this is of course normal for an old creole house. It is a bit irritating and might feel uncomfortable that the guardian sleeps on the veranda (we were later told that he just fell asleep there accidentally, which was certainly not the case), but don't be afraid of him.

"Stayed in Room 3. The room was nice and clean, water, Yorkshire Tea, coffee sachets provided. Bathroom is small but adequate and miniature Toiletries were provided The bed was comfortable and I slept well and didn't hear any noise from the local hospital.or other guests. it talkes around 20 minutes walk from Train Station or you can catch a few buses on York Hospital Route"

Nail in carpet near the tea/Coffee tray at foot of bed which I hurt my foot on (I informed the female house keeper when leaving) No one was there to welcome my arrival. I found the whole keypad instructions process over the phone frustrating and after a long journey I didn't need the extra anxiety The shower drains very slowly so the shower trap fills with water when showering Confusion over eating in the room the hand booklet in the room states food is allowed but on Booking Dot Com it states that a fine will be incurred if you eat in room TV Screen is cracked on left hand side

"Freda was very nice and helpful, providing us with a map of the sights to see in town, and her helpful assistant/dog Bella was also extremely welcoming! The room was nice, with a small kitchenette and some food/drinks provided, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Also a great location, just a short walk from everything."

Need better hot water and better internet 🛜

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

"Chris and Saba's home is lovely, we were so comfortable during our brief stay. Chris's garden is beautiful respite from the bustle of Mekele, and both he and Saba were a wealth of knowledge for trip planning. The local honey and fresh guava smoothie at breakfast were an extra treat."

"Very welcoming and kind host, amazing location right in the heart of Baku, many bus stops and subway is nearby, and you can simply walk everywhere as well- old city with Maiden tower just 20 minutes walk, and boulevard is only 5 minutes. Quiet street and yard. Many shops, coffee and bakeries, restaurants and malls nearby."

For this affordable price I have no complaints- extremely happy with this visit!
