"Good location, especially if you are doing any diving. Really nice that there are some affordable options in Palau. Shared bathroom facility was clean and simple. It was everything that I needed."

I like the property because the staff are kind and will help you when you’re carrying belongings.

"The room was even better than the hotel room I had from the festival I attended. Clean and fresh. The house was quite and the best thing is the owner so friendly, responding fast and so kind about the check in and out and keeping my luggae for some hours before my flight."

"I came from Mumbai to Addis Ababa, then took a bus from Addis to Bahir Dar. This hostel was a gem with the value you pay. I asked them to buy the return bus ticket, pick up to the bus station in the early morning and they happily did. The best part was they helped me get an excellent tour package of the Lake Tana and the Blue Niles Waterfall, with very good price for one day, as I was tight with my schedule. The tour went very well with excellent and safe vehicles (car and boat), great guides, and all important places. The room I got has a queen size bed, shower and toilet attached, with good privacy and cleanliness. I stayed two nights and will do it again when I have a chance.Please support this property as well as the Bahir Dar. They are waiting and very happy to serve you to the best of their abilities."

Provide some décent knifes, cutting boards, and paint a bit the outside kitchen to make it more welcoming and it will be a 10. Anyhow it is a good choice if you're on a budget.

I didn't feel convenient with the welcoming phone conversation I had with the host. The fact that the host said that there's no parking place, while I realized that there actually is.

"Very good value. Beachfront hostel. Beautiful views. Functional kitchen with helpful accessories. Hot water in shower with a quality towel provided. Comfortable beds. Fans provided but rooms can still be very warm."

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

"After a year of traveling and staying in countless hostels, I can confidently say Mantra is easily one of, if not the best out there. Unbeatable rooftop with an incredible sunset view, indoor common room with cozy seating and open space, consistent organized activities, clean and comfortable facilities, cafe with tons of delicious food options, a perfect location, and absolute top notch helpful and caring staff. I truly cannot stress enough how amazing this hostel is!! I will absolutely be back."

"Perfect location, right beside the castle. There’s a path just right in front of the hostel. You can go up from there and it took about 10 minutes you’ll have the good view of the castle"

The kitchen facilities are a bit tricky because one kitchen is so small (one person can fit) and the upstairs kitchen has little sitting (except outside if the weather allows).
