"Love the location it was near the airport 10mins by car, near all the mall and shops and gadong night market. The room and bathroom is clean."

It is on the 2nd floor, and no lift, luckily i didnt bring heavy lugage.. also the staff service is amazing they offer to help to bring the lugage.

Male shared bathroom needs a some hooks to hang clothes while using the bathroom.

"Great value for money, as everything else in SJDS was incredibly expensive compared to this. Recommended for budget backpackers."

Breakfast was tiny

"It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice."

"The staff were amazing, especially Carlos. The daily breakfast was delicious and appreciated. The room was lovely. We had hot water in the shower and there was a attached restaurant. The pool area and shared outdoor space was clean and comfortable. It was a secure area."

I had a couple of noisy roommates who snored but otherwise it was ok.

"Pros - location right in old town was great. Rooms were clean and spacious (for a hostel) and the facilities were better than expected. It is in an old house and my private room had a balcony over the garden. AC worked well and the bathroom was clean with good hot water. Lots of shared spaces. The bar had reasonable food and was a good place to hang out in the evening. This was one of the better hostels I've used in Latin America. I had a private room, so can't speak for the dorms. Was quiet after 11 pm. I loved this hostel."

Cons - not much. Colonia is an expensive place to stay so the value for money was quite good. The hallway carpets could use a good cleaning, or at least a vacuum but there was construction happening in a room nearby so that might explain the dirt.

"You literally only have to cross a small road and you are right on the beach, less than 100 meters from the Indian Ocean - and just a short walk to Tofo market with all the nice restaurants and bars. Perfect location, not too busy or noisy. Great value for money, friendly staff."

"The location, staff, fully stocked kitchen, warm inside spaces, and last but not the least the delicious breakfast. The whole vibe of the hostel is amazing - highly recommend."

The showers can be a bit bigger, but not an issue.

"Of the 4 hostels I stayed in in Antigua, this one was my favorite especially because of the comfortable beds and kitchen. The 1st place I stayed had a kitchen, but springs on the bed hurt me. The 2nd place had a good bed, but no kitchen and food in Antigua is pricey so I ended up spending more than I wanted. The 3rd place had a kitchen, but the bed was too short and squishy. This place is a bit farther from the center, but the bed was perfect and had a privacy curtain, and they had a kitchen and hot water showers."

Location is a bit far from center, but it's otherwise an easy and safe walk.

Our room was very small, the bed took up most of the floor space. However, this has to be balanced with the amount we paid.
