Acoustics. You could hear everything. No AC in my room, but it wasn't necessary either as it was not a very hot day.

"Efficient, worry-free and simple. Self check-in, self check-out. Always nice to see renters who are still trusting the world. Also, great communication!"

Maybe a hello from the owner would had been nice, but its optional.

"Clean, comfortable room and bathroom. Awesome pool, and great happy hour at the tiki bar beside the pool. AC worked very well! I would definitely stay here again."

"Absolutely loved my stay here! The ambiance is so serene! It's nice and quiet at night so you'll sleep peacefully. Location is great as it's located in the community area and not in the national park yet it's close to everything you will want to visit during your stay. I also love that they're so organised with tours they provided good information and hade competitive rates if not the best rates in the area. The service was on point from the moment I arrived until checkout. The food so delicious! I stayed in a cottage with a balcony, the view was super, I highly recommend those rooms. Thank you so much for having! I'll definitely be back"

It was quite cold in the room, maybe it would be a good idea to provide extra blankets :)

"Good location, especially if you are doing any diving. Really nice that there are some affordable options in Palau. Shared bathroom facility was clean and simple. It was everything that I needed."

Communication was a bit challenging with the front desk.

"Gorgeous surroundings and very comfortable beds and tents. The staff is incredible and everything is super clean. I decided to stay an extra week before crossing into Botswana. I loved it here!"

"The beds were clean and had mosquito nets. The room was spacious with only 4 beds. There's an AC in the room and 2 fans. The location is good; it's like a village on the western side of the city. It is safe even walking at night. There are small shops nearby. You can buy basic stuff and cook in the fully equipped kitchen. The beaches are 15-20 minutes walking or 5 min by tuktuk. The fast ferry to the airport is just 10 min walking distance. The staff were ok and helpful. The view from the balcony is great. It's the cheapest place in town. In fact it's the only hostel in Freetown on Booking.com. They have a generator in case of power cuts. The wifi is fast."

The toilet needs a bit of cleaning and maintenance. There's no hot water and the water pressure is weak. The generator is right under the dorm window; very loud. But still; you get what you pay for. A basic hotel in the area is 3-4 times more expensive.

The showers can be a bit bigger, but not an issue.

Nice mountainview from the windows. Internet worked perfectly. Shop and museum is very close like villages other services as well."

Our room was very hot. There was a little fan but unless we had the door open it did little to cool the room.

"Close to the Medina and not too long walk to the street cars to get you to the Bardo Museum."

The hallway and room lights are dim

"Great value for the money. We had bug net on windows and around the bed. Hot water in the shower, you can see the ocean from the roof. Street is not busy, can park car next to a hotel door. Overall I'm really happy with my stay."

The bed was a little hard for me as a side sleeper.

Our room was very small, the bed took up most of the floor space. However, this has to be balanced with the amount we paid.

"We loved how quaint & authentic the decor was. I felt I was in Peru & not in an American cookie cutter hotel. We were warmly greeted by the hotel staff. They fixed our TV issues quickly. Gave us bottled water & candy. Very nice breakfast including scrambled eggs! We were near the bluffs so an easy walk. Also to walk to the Indian Market was about 20-30 minutes, a decent stroll."

Construction next door was going on but stopped by 500pm. No air conditioning but was provided a fan which worked out to be fine
