"The room was even better than the hotel room I had from the festival I attended. Clean and fresh. The house was quite and the best thing is the owner so friendly, responding fast and so kind about the check in and out and keeping my luggae for some hours before my flight."

Everything was good. I hope just the otger guests attention to the rules.

"Quiet spot that's a short walk to the harbor where Nuuk Water Taxi and the Arctic Umiaq line leave from. The host was very friendly and helpful with luggage storage. Small place with only 3 rooms and a shared kitchen."

Wasn't a problem for me but as a warning you must climb up a lot of stairs to get in.

"A very nice and atmospheric resort. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of parking spaces. There is a gazebo on site where you can barbecue and spend a nice evening. Additionally, a small playground for children. The rooms are very clean. Two toilets and 3 shower cabins per floor."

"University from the 1700's for crying out loud. What is not to like? Regard the incredible architectural edifices. A 15-minute walk leads to Quinpool Road where there are many shops, grocery stores, and late-night restaurants, brewpubs, and coffee shops. Bus to downtown Halifax, to and from, is a snap (# 1 down Coburg / Spring Garden Road) University dorm accom in Halifax, various campuses, is incredible value. Book EARLY though!"

My only 'grump' is the heavy banging of the entry door to the dormitory, folks coming and going and NOT being mindful to the gorilla-sized BANG of the door closing behind them. This was not an issue for me; but for my partner it most certainly was, I am not sure that anything can be done about the door itself. We DID bring this matter to the attention of the front desk-and the folks there were very understanding and in agreement. The shared bathroom / showers set-up was absolutely agreeable-no complaints.

Unreliable WiFi and a couple of incorrect description posted on Booking.com (no indoor dining area, coffee maker) that are missing in the room.

"The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating, the facilities are clean and well kept, and Felix the cat will cuddle with you if you let him! In addition, the location of the hostel is very conveniently placed, and the other people staying there were delightful. All in all, my stay was 10/10! If I come back to the Faroe Islands this place will be my first choice!"

The kitchen was fully furnished, clean, and easy to use 👌👌. Most importantly, I had so much fun staying here. The atmosphere was great, and I felt comfortable the whole time. "One of the better hostels I’ve stayed at, conveniently located next to the bus station and a short walk into the town. Luggage storage for when you want to head into the mountains. Bathrooms are cleaned regularly, as well as the kitchen and rooms. Very social atmosphere with the common areas having lots of seating and the staff being warm and welcoming. Ramado was an absolutely gem of a host, super helpful with advice :)"

"Not bad at all! When I was there I had the whole dorm to myself, staff were nice, it was more or less clean, bed was comfy enough. Just no wifi and some mosquitoes. Great for Tonga and especially for the price."
