"This is a SUPERB place to stay. Location: right in the middle of the Centro Histórico, a 2 minute walk from whatever you might need. Comfort: quiet, great mattress, extra pillows on the bed, hot shower with good pressure. Extras: included coffee and tea, places to sit and read, a book exchange, beautiful architecture, an electric heater in the room, really good breakfast with unusually good bread. Staff: super friendly, relaxed, and helpful. An excellent value and a great night's sleep. 10/10"

"This place is amazing for the history connected with it. It is a real hacienda, with much of the original antique furniture. The staff are so professional and friendly, we felt well cared for. Dinner and breakfast were very good, beds super comfy, and a fireplace in every room which the staff lit for us anytime we wanted it. Great experience, close to Cotopaxi volcano. Worth the cost!"
Negative point:
"Just a reminder that this place was built in the 1600's and maintained and renovated over the years. It is understandable that it might be drafty and the floors creak. But the fireplace basically solves that issue. Put another blanket on the bed, they're in the closet."
