"Amazing location! As soon as you step out of the cabaña you are literally in the red desert. Very friendly and helpful staff. Brayam (the host) was willing to help with everything and adjusted all communication and explanations to the level of basic Spanish we spoke."

A mosquito net should be added to the room. We had our own so were not bothered, but you do need one. While the host was extremely helpful, he asked for tip when dropping us in Villavieja at the end of our stay. While he is of course free to ask, we already ate twice at the hostel restaurant and booked transport to the gray desert with him. All in, we already spend quite some pesos (and still happy with that), but it just felt a bit off to then ask for even more.

"The staff (and manager specifically) went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay, even going out of his way to help us get transportation to our next destination. It was clean, comfortable and had lots of great outdoor seating, especially the top floor balcony, which you can see the ocean from."

The apartment is on very busy street and is quite loud event in the night.

"A true rustic hideway. Loved the honesty bar. Simple but delicious breakfast. Pool was a bonus. Great location, near the restaurants and bars but far enough away to eacape the noise from the nightclubs. Dont expect a branded, glitzy hotel. Its simple and rustic with a touch of faded colonial grandeur."

"Very nice place, the host was super-attentive and friendly, provides help and information for everything you need. You know some places take insta-care of their guests just by one look - this is one of those. Clean and comfy, complementary water/coffee, AC, Netflix.. everything you need. The best pizza in Skopje is in fact right next to the apartment in the bar called 'Groovelyn', which is also a must visit."

The food was excellent with creative and new menu being developed daily. We loved the fresh bread daily and crepes, we definitely looked forward to our meals every time! "This is a SUPERB place to stay. Location: right in the middle of the Centro Histórico, a 2 minute walk from whatever you might need. Comfort: quiet, great mattress, extra pillows on the bed, hot shower with good pressure. Extras: included coffee and tea, places to sit and read, a book exchange, beautiful architecture, an electric heater in the room, really good breakfast with unusually good bread. Staff: super friendly, relaxed, and helpful. An excellent value and a great night's sleep. 10/10"

Kopstal itself is a village in a valley that feels like you are in the middle of mountains. Despite that, has 3 good restaurants, including one that doubles as a very nice pub."

"Worth the 4km off-road from the main road on the way to Wadi Rum (and/or as complementary day to the Wadi Rum experience). Compared to Wadi Rum, this experience was calm and authentic outside of the touristic paths. it's a beautiful spot, Jaffar and Julie cooked wonderful food and we had a good evening chat. Sukran!"

A bit warm in those small rooms, but if you leave the door open, the breeze helps a lot.
