"Justin was a very helpful and attentive host. He arranged for me to go see a voodoo ceremony, which was really cool. He also helped arrange trusted motorcycle taxis, which helped me a lot. He was always making sure I was happy and had all I needed. Also, the food was delicious and I slept really well."

"A true rustic hideway. Loved the honesty bar. Simple but delicious breakfast. Pool was a bonus. Great location, near the restaurants and bars but far enough away to eacape the noise from the nightclubs. Dont expect a branded, glitzy hotel. Its simple and rustic with a touch of faded colonial grandeur."

"The breakfast is personalized instead of a buffet. I didn't even have to request it. Soon after I sat at a table I was served by an ample sort of food. Local fruits, ham, cheeze, and more. I tried several kinds of brewed tea. For those that love lemon, I suggest to try the Chalela tea :). The location is slightly away from the city center, about 5 minutes from car. This both gave me a calm area for sleep and relaxation, and made it quick to get there whenever I needed, which suited my needs perfectly."

"Mr.Hikmet the host is a very nice person, he arranged and picked us up from the airport past midnight. The location of the stay is very close to the Metro station and you can go to the old city in 30 minutes. I would recommend this to any bachelor's and family who want a decent accommodation at an affordable price"

"The room was clean and met our needs. The beach is really beautiful. Many sea birds and beautiful rocks at the end of the beach. very private. There is a tree on the property where many different species of birds visit. Meals can be ordered in advance prepared and served as requested. Food is fresh and delicious. You can also walk along the beach and find bbq restaurants and one restaurant for breakfast. Its very quiet and has the most gorgeous sunsets every night. Close to many sights. Fito your host can arrange transportation and tickets to excursions. Huge balcony with hammocks to watch the sunsets. Enjoyed our stay!!"

There was no bottled water accessible for drinking. Buy a large bottle for your room as the kitchen closes early.

"Staying at this family-run hotel in Wadi Rum was a truly special experience. The owners' hospitality makes us feel instantly welcome. Our room was surprisingly spacious, a real treat considering the stunning desert landscape surrounding us. Waking up to that breathtaking sunrise view was an absolute highlight! Plus, the host organized a fantastic program that really allowed us to immerse ourselves in the magic of Wadi Rum. And let's not forget the dinner! The Beduin-style meal was absolutely delicious, a real taste of local flavors that perfectly complemented our desert adventure. The owner truly went above and beyond by organizing a fantastic program for us in the desert. It was a real highlight of our stay and a wonderful way to experience the beauty and culture of Wadi Rum."

While our stay had many highlights, it's worth noting that the hotel appears to still be under development. We observed some buildings that seemed to be in the early stages of construction and looked unfinished. Additionally, we encountered some water on the bathroom floor, which was a bit inconvenient.

"This is an interesting location...a former grade school, the owners are converting the original structure into a hotel. It is a work in process, and a unique property. The large room has simple yet comfortable beds. At night, total darkness and silence. The thoughtful and hearty breakfast, ( buns/bread/egg, yogurt, assorted mea spreads, orange juice, coffee...) The vintage American rock on the radio. The host is nice and knowledgeable. The antique Swedish prints, the former teachers, the TV area. Get dinner at early/stop at store early...if not you will have dinner at the Circle K :)"

I liked the steep drive down into the valley and equally steep drive back up to the school. But glad it wasn't snowing. I also did not know that it was a former school that was being renovated into a hotel. As such, it was not what I expected. However, after a good night's sleep and a really good breakfast. Accompanied by vintage rock songs on the radio which I had not heard for many years. Conversation with the owner. Took many pictures of the vintage art and photos...I think this was a good Norwegian experience.

"Easy check in and restaurant located on site was good value. We were taking the ferry to Ometepe Island and this was the perfect location for the night before. It was less then a 5 min walk even pulling all our luggage from the hotel to the ferry dock."

"Great place, friendly host, very clean and well equipped room. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of local products. I enjoyed staying in this place. Highly recommend! It’s easier to get to the property by car. Not sure about public transportation."

"Well, totally different experience from Riga! This place is AWESOME as the staff. The lady who hosted us did a great and PERFECT job. We place is very well located, alogside the road, close to supermarkets and the castle ruins. The city centre can be acessed by a footpath uphill from the hotel on a pleasant walk. Bedrooms alright, very clean and organized with no problems at all. We liked so much, that we spent more time that we intended on the next city in a Wine Festival in Sabile that we decided to go back and stay one more night and with only 10 Euros more, they gave us an apartment with living room and kitchen. I wuosl easily go back and refer here. One of the best places on the trip! The city is not big and have not that much to visit but satying here, made everything much better and pleasant! And parking is right besides the hotel as well with plenty space and easy to use and access!"

"Really good central location but quiet at night. Rooms are good with all necessary amenities. Great views from the top floor. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. They kept our bags when we went up to Sarangkot for a couple of days. Highly recommend."
