"The owner was exceptionally nice and helpful. The location was perfect, so close to everything."
The bedroom window only had a sheer curtain and faced east so we woke up very early each morning because of the sun.

"Old school gem with friendly staff, delicious food and comfortable rooms. Underfloor heating was a bonus as it was winter. Lovely lounge with fireplace and very comfortable chairs for reading and relaxing. Beautiful setting and peaceful."

"It was very uncomplicated to get the keys. Plenty of parking nearby. The bathroom was spacious, the location was clean. The building has old roots and the main building was a makeshift hospital during the Battle of Waterloo, which added to the charm."
