"Beautiful setting, space, scenery and vibe. If I could I would have spent a week here at least. The bus was cozy and an incredibly inviting space. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful all around. The bathrooms were super clean and had plenty of privacy and space. The small kitchen in the bus was perfect for our needs. 10/10 loved everything about the bus."

"The host was super friendly. Shortly after we arrived, she came to check on us and came into the apartment. We were a little surprised that she just sat down and made herself at home, but she was so friendly and beautiful we were happy to have her stay. In fact, we were a little disappointed she never came by on day two, but the day we left she came by to see us off. Again, she just came in and plopped down on our chair, and we were a little afraid she'd get locked in when we left, but she followed us to our car. She did make it a little difficult to pack our things because she kept standing in the way and getting on our luggage. She was also pretty aggressive about trying to taste our breakfast and even licked a spoon while we were eating yogurt, but we didn't hold it against her. The bus was funky and the setting was amazing and beautiful."

"In all seriousness, there were no real issues. I'll only mention something that would likely be a problem anywhere similar, but I at least wish I had known about before. Turns out, Iceland has some form of murder midge that bites you without ever even being seen, and only affects some people (my wife and kids were fine). So if you're staying anywhere like this that's in the country, I recommend getting some sort of repellent, because these bites are miserable."

"This was such a unique accommodation, and honestly, we were most excited for this one when coming to Iceland. It lived up to our expectations. The location is unbelievable. You are at the base of the mountain with the ocean just down the way from you. The grounds are beautiful. We couldn’t get enough. It is so peaceful, and the animals on the property add a homey touch. Couldn’t ask for more."

"Cute, funky buses made for a charming place to sleep on our last night. Technically one bus could have slept our family of four (all the buses seem like they have a queen bed and 2 bunks), but we spread out into two buses and were happy we did."

"I knew from another review there would be roosters, but didn't quite realize they'd be free to roam under the buses, and seemed to prefer to be right under ours."

"The location and the unusual accommodations. Be prepared, it's more on the camping end of accommodations. But each unit is individual and beautiful!!"

"Off the beaten path. This is a creative, communal style glamping site. Double - sized city buses converted to comfortable sleeping quarters. Very nice. Loaded with character and charm. Separate building for shared WC / bathroom / shower. Outside, chickens were roaming about, and sheep were nearby, too. Grand view of the mountains behind, the sea in front, and the sky above. Just 25 mins from Reykjavik, but far enough away that we saw northern lights directly above us one evening."

"The WiFi NEVER worked. Never. A caretaker was present / residing on site, and reportedly was also asking the owner/manager (who was away on holiday) about the WiFi. There was no response from owner about WiFi. Oh well."
