Hellnafell

"From the location to the amenities, Hellnafell was perfect. We were looking for a place that was well-positioned for exploring the peninsula and spacious enough for four adults to relax comfortably in variable weather, and this was definitely both. The common areas and beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the essentials, and the views of Kirkjufell out the window can't be beat. We also appreciated how close it is to town without being in it - easy to drive in for groceries or a meal out. We highly recommend this place and hope to stay again in the future."

"Stunningly situated, directly across from Kirkjufell. The home is very spacious and has everything you need for an extended stay on Snaefellsnes. Snaefellsnes is remote so lodging options are somewhat limited and Hellnafell was a perfect fit for us. The owner is very helpful and responsive and you are close enough to a few small towns to have some dining options, gas, and small grocery stores. The views of course are amazing. A truly memorable place!"

"Absolutely beautiful location on the water with a front-and-center view of Kirkufell. The horses on the property greet you like they’ve been waiting for you to come home all day! Very spacious for our family of five adults (3 adult kids all had their own room). We stayed in the summer but we will absolutely be back in the fall or winter because this place would be a northern lights theater if here at the right time! Can’t say enough about how perfect this accommodation is. Thank you for having us, Eva, and hope you had a great vacation as well!"

"The views were stunning, the rooms were comfortable, the house was spacious. The kitchen was pretty well stocked in terms of utensils/cooking tools, and there were a few ingredients/food items possibly from past visitors that helped with cooking. Even a whole spice drawer! Overall this was one of my favorite places we stayed on our trip."
