Guest reviews for Helluland Guesthouse
"Horse riding next door with horses rushing up the driveway in the morning. Good breakfast with cozy dining room. Room was a good size for 3 people."
"Steep staircase. Bathrooms were small."
"The host was genuinely kind and helpful. She and her staff made me feel welcomed. I would definitely return."

"Great location, horseback riding on site. Comfortable rooms and superb breakfast."

"Quaint bed and breakfast type of hotel stay. Comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Shared bathrooms with other guests was a tad tricky but all were respectful of timing, use and cleanup. Nice but small sitting room next to dining areas to read or catch up on the next days plans. We cooked in using the large Kitchen. Afterwards ventured out far into the field behind the guesthouse and loved the views, flora and fauna. Watching the horses go out to the fields at night and come in during the morning was a fun treat! Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and a good variety. Would stay here again."
"Small shared bathrooms could be an issue for some. Stairs to bedrooms are steep but were not a problem for us, just have to be careful and host gave us a friendly warning on that. Its a short drive to the nearest town so pickup groceries or needs prior to checking in."
"We loved the thermal baths and were very grateful for the free EV charging for our car. The dinner and breakfast were delicious."
"We couldn’t figure out how to use the room coffee maker and the staff were not able to help us."
"Such a beautiful little cozy room! The hospitality is superb."
"We didn’t know they had breakfast! We read in a tour book they don’t offer it and they did but we had made other arrangements. Sad to miss! The shower situation was a bit tough with a curtain and the quiet hours were great except some kids were running around scream-playing after hours (not a big deal but we were personally told to be quiet after 10pm and the kids were running around at 11pm)."
"Very nice. Very clean. Friendly people. It was a perfect place for an overnight. We even had the bonus of watching the 100 horses being turned out to night pasture."
"Aucun."
"Very nice accomodations. Loved the view from our room...we could watch the horses being moved to pasture and there are over 100 of them! Our beds were comfortable and the house had some wonderful vintage furniture."
"Bathroom and shower were tiny. The stair steps were very small."
"Very charming accommodation! My room was large, the common areas were cozy, and there were beautiful horses everywhere!"
"Aucun."
"Warm welcome from the host. Check in instructions were clear and accurate. Room and common areas were very clean. Loved the horses as an added bonus."
"Now that there are mosquitoes in the area, window screens would be a good addition (did warn us and provided bug repellent)"

"We recently stayed at Eystri-Solheimar for 3 nights. The host Einar and his staff were extremely helpful, attentive, the room was very clean and spaceious, very quiet. The breakfast/coffee was nice. We would stay there again next time if we go. Btw, he can speak Chinese! We wish that we could have seen the northern lights, but that's not Einar's fault, he then sent me some spectacular pictures from his phone as a compensation. :)"
"The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed plus some extra perks like coffee and cookies. The location was extremely beautiful being located near the bottom of a mountain and conveniently located near Vik."

"The best apartment I visited this year. Everything is brand new, extremely well thought out, and beautifully executed. The design is outstanding, the space is generous, and everything is very comfortable and practical. Located in a great area. I have absolutely no complaints — for the first time, I’m giving a 10 out of 10."
