"He was very clear on instructions on how to get to the house since it was kind of in the middle of nowhere. He was responsive in the morning about an earlier check in than we had currently asked for. The place was clean, had all the things necessary to store/cook food. A lot of natural light in the morning with all the windows (which I love) and a great place to hopefully see the northern lights."

"Hrismoar We really enjoyed our stay here, and would have stayed longer if we weren’t on a set schedule around ring road. It was clean, comfortable, cozy, and scenic, with a good view of the river. It’s a good place to catch your breath, especially if you have a long driving day. It was also nice to have a kitchen and make our own food after many days staying in hotels. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it!"

"No ovenin kitchen. No plate in mirowave oven. The stove turns off by itself without any reason. We couldn't find the way, no signposts on the main road to the property."

"We recently stayed at Eystri-Solheimar for 3 nights. The host Einar and his staff were extremely helpful, attentive, the room was very clean and spaceious, very quiet. The breakfast/coffee was nice. We would stay there again next time if we go. Btw, he can speak Chinese! We wish that we could have seen the northern lights, but that's not Einar's fault, he then sent me some spectacular pictures from his phone as a compensation. :)"
"Space enough for 3 luggage, shared kitchen is good to use and the goose and sheep and dogs and cats are just lovely and the sunrise and sunset view are definitely the highlight of this guesthouse!"
