Kósý Vík

"We spent a week in Iceland and stayed in different locations throughout. Kosy Vik was by far our favorite. Our host was amazing, so friendly and kind. The space was just what we needed, and the location was perfect! Kosy Vik was able to accommodate us when the weather prevented safe travel back to Reykjavik. Hrund checked on us often, offering homemade treats, making recommendations of food and activities. It was truly a pleasure. Our next visit to Iceland will definitely include a stay at Kosy Vik"

"Great, quiet location in Vik. Hostess provided a map of Vik and recommendations on where to go in the area. Extremely helpful and even provided a bit of shark and something clear to wash it down. Very enjoyable time there."

"The place was very clean and tidy and stocked with all the essentials, and she provided a nice light breakfast as well, which was a pleasant surprise. It is located just 10 minutes walk from Vik city center, so it is great even if you don't have a rental car. Hrund was a fantastic host -- she was very communicative and accommodating for our late check-in. She also gave great tips for what to do and see in the area. I highly recommend her place if you are visiting Vik!"

"Absolutely perfect! Our hostess was accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed and then some! The room was comfortable and well appointed and the town was adorable! 100% recommend!"

"The place was in the center of VIK and hence close to a lot of places and restaurants. We reached late and by that time all the restaurants were closed. The host graciously gave us a basket of goodies . Overall we had a good experience."

"The place does not accept credit cards which we did not know ahead of time. We made the booking and payment on booking.com and got the message that everything was done. On reaching the property the host told us that we will either have to pay in cash or do a bank transfer. This was very inconvenient considering it was a weekend. We somehow managed to initiate a bank transfer, but had to pay an international transaction fee of 40$. This aspect of the property should be highlighted at the time of booking ."
